rfx45 rfx45 how much is that AMG going to run around your way?

Outside of the states, I've seen prices just over 200k :smh:

There are 3 AMG flavors though I am not sure if all will make it to the US.

There's the S500 AMG w/ 4.7L Twin-Turbo V8 (449hp) which starts @ £96,565.

The S63 AMG w/ 5.5L Twin-Turbo V8 (577hp) that starts @ £124,715.

And a S65 AMG w/ 6.0L Twin-Turbo V12 (621hp) that starts @ £183,065.

I'm not a big merc guy but I was under the impression that the s500 is a regular Mercedes model and not an AMG, I could be wrong though

S500 AMG is like the M-Sport from BMW and F-Sport from Lexus (thought more like M-Sport than F-Sport) and MB is going to start spreading it to all their models and calling it AMG Sport.

At least that is how I think they are going about? A C450 AMG will be right in between the C400 and C63 AMG.

They're AMG so yeah. :lol:


For the price of the S645 though, I'd probably go with the SLS.

:wow: Those lines, so elegant. This car is a thing of beauty. I'd love to see a navy blue on cream I interior instead of the boring gray. I'm not a luxury car buyer, but I appreciate everything that this car is.

Got to test drive the S65 yesterday and this car is simply incredible. wow what a coupe!

They really did, especially the coupe.

Thing looks great on the outside and even more amazing on the inside. It's just nuts! No surprise the 621hp monster can move despite it's weight.

Thats what I was thinking as well. Everytime I think MB can do no better they do.
 
The 8-series concept from a couple of years back pretty much became the i8.

Not really plus it's not even in the same class, S65 is $100k+ more.


I am kind of curious why MB decided not to make an E-Class AMG anymore.


The upcoming C-class Coupe AMGs going to look incredible though, we should see it in three months time.
