Guardians of the Galaxy (Film) - 8/1/14 - Starring Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Benic

Get off your high horse. The guardians weren't cool until this movie was announced.

Correction, the Guardians weren't cool TO YOU until this movie was announced but the 2008 25 issue run is one of my favorite runs in recent memory. I love how Kevin Feige took a chance on them. Hopefully it catches on and sparks a franchise. Here's hoping.

Also 25 issues aint that much. There are Marvel NOW titles approaching/surpassing that much and Marvel NOW is known to renumber titles frequently. 25 issues before Marvel started this renumbering craze is not that good.

And the first volume of this comic is from the 90s. 24 years later they just barely passed their 100th issue.

Until the Bendis run, this comic had a very vocal minority or people who loved it.

Cause everyone was reading Secret Invasion. Guardians were filler, just like what the movie will be for the MCU. If you like them as much as you do, then why would you be opposed to them reaching a wider audience and trying to come at someone for liking a character? C'mon

Got my tickets, but I dont know if I wanna just see 17 minutes of the movie and get cut off....I need the whole damn thing  Might just get the poster and bounce.

Guardians weren't no filler. The cosmic stories from 2006-2010 were some of the best that Marvel had to offer and GoTG, along with Nova, was pretty much the anchor for all of them. Secret Invasion was garbage btw.

Stop it. You knew nothing of him before this movie was announced. Shut up.

I dont know what your agenda is...first you come out with that "I knew about it first, yall can't have it" attitude and then you want GoTG to start franchises for the masses  chill out son.

Lulz, are you a wizard??...how could you possibly know what I liked or didn't like before this film?...and even if I didn't, what is the problem with me liking him POST film? Do you want a cookie or something

It would be nice if after the 17 minute preview they just come out and say " nah we were just joking, here's the whole film!" Lol. Tickets were pretty easy to grab here in Orlando. Hope everyone who wanted to go got tix

That's what happens when geek rage collapses in on itself, dude doesn't even know how to feel.

17 min would just spoil it for me and I feel it'll create a lot of unneeded feedback.

Like that's not even a half hr show with commercials. I'll be sitting there just wanting more and being disappointed.

Planet Sakaar was introduced in Planet Hulk to those who may not know.

Is that stuff about Knowhere being controlled by Collector true at any time period or is that just for the movie?
