* Official Nike Air Zoom Generation * Lebrons first Retro - DATE TBA

Good Lord to the YoungLord's photo.

In my opinion they have taken a step back with this colorway.
Always liked the Wheats, just not feeling these as much. It's looks like they cheapened them up.
Maybe we'll get some terrific quality with them, who knows.

I'll definitely sign up for the sweepstakes and try my luck with SNKR's but I will not be paying any premium if I miss out on retail.
Just not that important to me.

Seen them in person... So damn underwhelming. Priced at $200.

Crazy the Foams for ASG have a $300 ticket

$200 why??? Hell, doesn't look premium to me in the least.

It's the All Star Game Release, that's as good as any excuse for Nike to stick it to the man...

Is the foam a similar color, Vachetta Tan?

The foam is a way lighter color of the Vachetta Tan. Vachetta Tan is actually the color listed on the box  but it is noticeably lighter than the AZG.

Sad part is that these 'Lugz' inspired joints have the 'limited' moniker and will be gobbled up be resellers so we'll still never know how the build quality of this retro compares to the 2003 OG and whether it has forefoot Zoom. :smh:

Resellers can have them joints, they are gonna get stuck with them too. People seem like they hate these across the board...

I'm still disappointed with how the First Games released was handled after all of the publicity and hype they had.

Nike really turned the ball over on that one. Such a missed opportunity.

Did anyone on here even manage to score a pair?

How close to originals are they if you've owned those before?

All the Zoom there? Or you not wearing them?

i never owned any of the originals due to circumstances so i couldn't say, I've only walked around in em casually so i can't verify or deny where the zoom is or isn't. heel has a little more give than the forefoot area so i would probably say heel only if theres any at all in em...

The leather looks kinda good from what I can see. The stitching looks perfect on that pair. Still a pass though.

So they have been moved up to next Thursday.

The first go around had Zoom Air in the forefoot area and Max Air in the heel.

yea, i knew what the og's had in them...i was just letting the guy that asked if the setup was the same, know i really couldn't answer his question as to if they feel the same or not based on me not owning the og's...they feel like there's something in the heel area, but nothing in the forefoot to me...I've been wearing nothing but kyrie 1's and 2's lately and the azgs feel similar to both...and by "wearing" them, i mean casually walking in them...

Appreciate your input my man. It looks like nobody else on NT scored a pair and can give feedback. So you've more or less confirmed that there's no forefoot Zoom Air and Nike did the same by removing the 'Zoom Air' printing on the sole too.

Can you comment on whether the shoe has a real carbon fibre shank plate? How about the sockliner, is it a standard foam padding or does it have the Nike Sphere padding? Hard to describe Nike Sphere padding but it has circular cutouts, almost like 'Swiss Cheese'.

i appreciate it, sockliner is definitely sphere padding, as far as carbon fiber plate, it looks real, definitely better than what the retro flight series have had the last decade lol...
