Pretty much nailed it.

NSW + gimmicks = higher price tag

And whoever said it first was right. Most of the GR colors did get markdowns and make it to sales racks.

I still say they're one of my favorite bball shoes of recent yrs. I loved how they sat very low and close to the ground.

The comfort on these is really quite decent. Not sure what you guys are talking about, but I STILL play in my playoffs from time to time.

Maybe decent relative to Jordans from over 20 years ago but they are definitely aren't comfortable compared to other Lebron signature models. They are like the older Solider line in terms of comfort.

That was the first big glitch, when we found out you could just type colorcodes into the web address and buy them before release.

Nike ended that REAL quick.

Yet they only sell for between 400-700 now.

And corks go for a grand? Really? Yeezys for two grand?
 
Corks and Floridians are the only ones I find remotely nice.

Any corny c/w now-a-days will just ruin the simplicity of the shoe...This is all, of course, IMHO.

Hype >>> Numbers

It's the same reason people pay $1000+ for South Beach 8s while something like Dunkman 2s will sell for the same price even though theres like 2-300 pairs.

I like being able to pick up things I like for cheap so I hope it stays that way :tongue:

#1. 500 in the world. Got em cuz of nt. do u know how many NTers there were then?!? For us to get in on 500 pairs? And get most of them.
The odds of any pairs coming from nonNT members was pretty slim, in the private market that is (not off ebay resellers who purchased from some of us fools who sold back then)

2. Sometime, the price will eventually rise on News of a 2 retro, whenever it may be

Now the price could also drop if they retro the shoe, in the exact color.

But im holding mine. I always said if he won a ring, those shoes would be even more important.
Now the hype is for these other shoes, and im sitting on a collectors goldmine.

Maybe not in dollar values, but in terms of rarity, come see me playa.
 
Niceeee. These are my favorite Bron's besides the II's and VII's. Hopefully they retro the "First Game's" too.
 
I'm glad I picked up a few pairs of 1st games. Will be a major collectors item!!
