I need some advice. I have a KTS Storm Mod that I've been using for the past 3 weeks. This morning after a few hits, the mod stopped firing. I take a look at the battery and notice on the top corner its a little burnt. I took my extra battery today to work thinking that it was a bad battery. Again, I get a few hits and same thing happens. The mod got pretty hot. Im not sure if its the battery, the mod, or the coil.Has anyone experience this before?
 
What resistance and are they high drain imrs? You could be drawing too much current and blowing batteries.

More advice chi based. When you start rebuilding especially with mesh it is mad frustrating. But once you get a good coil my advice is don't touch it. I've cleaned my mesh once in a few months and recoiled. Otherwise just dry burn it with a couple pulses. I hate making new coils. Especially with low res it's harder to get rid of hot spots.
 
I have a ego c-twist battery with a tabac bcc cartomizer. it's pretty basic but i am happy with it

Are you running sub ohm? If your below .7 I suggest getting a better battery. MNKE or aw imr. The very least efest batteries. Your battery cant handle the draw and making the mod and battery heat up

Thanks again. How is mesh as far as flavor goes? I read from some people that you can taste the metal.

I don't think it's great. But it's durable and doesn't hold flavors at all. I'd say it mutes it a little but it's OK. And yeah I've had it taste like metal but it's not that bad.
 
Just tried out a cartomizer in a dct tank so far so good! Do I ever have to drip it from the tip or will that small hole on the bottom be sufficient?

OK cool. Just asking because I'm using a twist and a nova clearo and the flavor is really hit or miss.
 
Small hole will work. No dripping unless you got a dripping Atty on it.

I also have a k100 with a aga. Other than their little quirks they are cool. I'm just glad I ditched that pos charger it comes with. I have an efest luc now. It's pretty nice.

i just ditched the battery, i kept the charger i charge my stuff over night. but i think this is a good mod
 
Do you guys use rebuildable stuff?

What is the best tank cartomizer in your opinion?
 
I have a vapor shark (going on a month without a cig!) from what I can see its just a rebranded eg-t 900mah non vv and a vivi nova. I'm looking for something with more vapor when I hit and a bigger battery. I have my eye on the kanger pro tank but what about battery? I have no clue, and I don't want to really get into rebuilding things and what not. Any suggestions?

Whats your price range for a battery?

I bought the Sigelei ZMax V3 recently and like it alot. Its VV and VW

Ive heard good things about the eVic and Provari also but the Provari is more expensive.

I'm looking to spend $60 really no more than that. Good looks on the suggestions will check it out
 
I think I finally figured out why my Kanger leaks .. The diameter of the flavor wicks is too small, so I have to put another one on top ...

Btw, if the flavor tastes burnt, should I be replacing the flavor wicks only, or do I have to replace the actual coil (the wire).
 
What's the best site to buy ego Twist? Looking to buy my first vape with 0 nicotine. There are tons of site and eBay but worry bout the knockoffs. Looking for legit site. Thanks
