Has anyone come across actual pics of the Schooners (red ones & mint ones) that released yesterday without the Kith filter???
 
Article had some good points. But it deliberately failed to mention how stuck up Ronnie is. And all the rants he goes on as if he's a god or something
 
Though I agree that branding (for any clothing company but particularly for "street wear") is important, there are "modes" of branding besides just splaahing your logo or tag line all over pieces. I'm not a designer but feel like those jackets would have looked better if it'd had "KITH" on the upper sleeve made to look like an arm band, or even across one of the cuffs of the sleeves. Something understated but still noticeable. I hope I explained it well and sorry or the novel.

yes branding is important. every company knows this. what RF is doing with his apparel line isn't something new or innovative...it's just ugly.

you can kind of see where he is going...his stuff reminds me of that early 90's apparel like nautica or polo sport. but its just kind of played.

Yup. His color blocking is fantastic on a lot of his stuff but it's just trying to plaster the logo and tag line all over the place that throws it off.

as a polo head...i can see that hes tryna bite early 90s polo/nautica but its a poor poor attempt

his clothing is nce but he kills it with his stupid branding

remembr the volcano apparel? that jacket was so nice untl you see the MASSIVE 3M kith flag...dude is clueless lol
 
I dont mind the kith logo on some of it being the colors and blocking on the jackets are fresh. None of the COA apparel had this big kith logo, very clean line looked thick and durable just a Lil too black. Be dope if they bit off supreme with a Lil red kith Tag instead.

I guess I am in the minority here, but I see no issue with the fact that all KITH pieces have either "kith" or "just us" somewhere on it. He is creating a brand. It's not H&M, or a department store that sells generic pieces. People don't say, "damn I love that Polo piece, but why does it always have 'Polo' or that stupid horse on it." (I understand Ronnie is not on Ralph's level but still. same analogy can be applied to stussy, 10deep, C&C)

 Bash me if you want... but to get mad that a brand is putting their brand name / trademark on every piece they create and distribute is asinine IMO

Little known fact, my work with Steve Buschemi can be balled in. I wear my high top RF x Buschemi to ball in every Saturday when I go to the courts in Harlem.

Honestly I really dont think the wooden box matters that much.

Prices vary and even worn pairs are going for 900+

Let alone a size 12.
