If I were buying grails. I'd go to the store and try a pair of GT2s on myself. No way would I cough up that much money and not be 100% sure. If there are no stores locally, try ordering from a site that has a great return policy and preferably one that doesn't charge return shipping either.

They fit similar to 997s and Gel Sagas for me, and i like my shoes snug too. I wear 8.5 in most Nikes and 8 in 997/998s, Sagas and GT2s.
For grails best to seek secondary opinions just to confirm this.

Yeah I agree people on this forum have told me to size a half size down. And the inner parts of the insoles looks like their's a lot less cushion compared to GLV and GLIII and in regards to their materials.

I went .5 down with the KFE GT2s, fits perfect (usually 8.5 with most Nikes & Asics).

Go .5 if you like a snug fit and go TTS if you prefer having a little room in the toe box.

i would say sizing down .5 would be the best option. i'm usually a 9.5 in racers&trainers and i bought 10 for the brazils thinking they would fit similar to GLV and regret it since.

For gt2 and most shoes I stay tts because I am a 13. I don't think they even made size 12.5 and I'm always scared size 12 would be too tight. I am sure you will be fine with your tts or .5 down
