Ronnie Fieg Collabs - Tracking order link http://shop.kithnyc.com/pages/tracking

Def more "iconic" than salmon toes. Dudes probably looking at things like campless, kicks in fire, sneaker news, or mole collector as their basis of what's the most iconic. Rationale would prob be: but dey has sells for the 1k

So nobody feeling the Pumas ? I'm in for the r698 pair.

Anybody saw guccipauls post on the possible friends and family pair of the r698? Monkey time colorway but they look good..

I may be by the store later this week so if If they don't restock by then I'll shoot you a holler

hows the sizing on the upcoming BoG? got the alife x puma one, and i had to size .5 down. are these the same?

Concepts is murdering him with a pick axe, but it's only one out of every three drops is really good. Packer had 2 drops that were stronger than almost anything he made this year (besides TSP), but who knows what you're gonna get from them every release. Foot Patrol, Mita, Offspring, Sneaker Freaker, Kilates and Highs and Lows all have been doing good work but nothing mind blowing. St Alfred, Hanon and Commonwealth have been MIA this year. and then there's the shops that consistently miss: UBIQ, Bodega, Burn Rubber and Extra Butter. Bait needs to just make a crap emoji print foamposite, because it couldn't possibly get any worse.

It's like no one wants to come for the throne. Ronnie left it wide opened after having a commanding lead and no one wants to win. It's like watching a basketball game where teams take turns throwing the ball out of bounds and dribbling off of their knees. The collab game reminds me of the lyrics from Kendrick Lamar on "Control."

I go back 2 years and shops were hitting on almost every collab. Not to say there isn't heat out there, there definitely is, but you have to be mad choosey.
Surprised you don't rate da vincis.  Hanon has been MIA but their 25th anni should be good.

no, it's textile. he only had a sz 10 and sz 9, and i'm usually a 9.5, since my foot is pretty wide, but that leaves a little bit of space near the toes. i was swimming in the 10, while the 9 is rather snug

Too many shops are focusing on some ridiculous concept to inspire a shoe rather than focusing on a clean, wearable shoe with quality materials. We have shoes that have been inspired by Street Meat, Hamburgers, Cherry Blossoms, The beach at 7:56 PM, The beach at 7:56 AM, NYPD Badges, GI Joe, Bull fighting, the Golden State Warriors, etc. Just make a nice shoe, first. It doesn't need it to have some profound meaning.

Some of RF best work had very little backstory and lacked a "creative sneaker name". Salmon toes, Leather backs, Super Reds, Rose Golds, Mints, etc. Their nick names, are just describing the actual shoe. The color-ways and quality are what made them what they were.

Concepts collabs are usually a hit they are usually they are clean. They take their inspiration and maximize it into a wearable shoe. Shops have to stop following every latest trend and focus on making a timeless shoe. Also, stop trying to be the innovation King. Yeah, you may be the first to collab a specific model, but if the shoe looks like crap, it looks like crap.

Nothing that surprising here. Only cool thing is that the shoe box doubles as a magazine holder, although I don't even have any magazines to put in a magazine holder. Size run is 4-11.5, 12, 13.
