they dont hold cart anymore though. I checked out pretty fast ~10-15 secs after it releases. When I went back to product page, many good sizes were out. so I can see how people missed out. it wasnt usual non-asics RF releases.

Yeah. If it declines your card does that mean sold out? I was tripped out when I seen that
Not really. Usually when they're sold out you'd get an error message saying "Inventory Issues." If your card was declined I think that's a legitimate issue with the card you used.

surprised both of these sold out in 8-10

i thought they would both sit a bit longer.

i wonder what the production numbers are like on these.

i like the bog's RF doesn't really put out enough leather sneakers.

He puts out a decent amount of leather sneakers. The Diamond Saga's were pretty good (even if they were effectively half leather) and the Puma x DSM "Achromatic" pack was majorly slept on. I picked up the black pair recently for $100 ($80 below retail) and it's one of the highest quality sneakers I own as far as materials go.

I've been interested in getting some of the "Grand Opening" ASICS but people seem to be kind of on the fence for the quality on those.

quality is rarely ever an issue with any of the RF's ive picked up.

sagas were nice, but like you mentioned half of the shoe qualifies for leather lol.

the DSM pairs were amazing quality but i can see why they were slept on.

people only hype up the crazy colorways. i had both black and white that i bought for retail and ended up selling and taking a loss.

Filling pieces were all leather but the quality was iffy on them i had two pairs of the veg tans and one of them had so much paint on the midsole they were basically 100% tan.

The leather on the grand opening sagas is top notch imo. Tempted to grab the GT2s too.

Never been a big fan of Filling Pieces. From my experience their shoes are never up to the level of quality you'd expect from their price point, and with what you mentioned I suppose even a RF collab couldn't fix that.

I can see why the "Achromatic" pack was slept on considering it doesn't have a lot of "wow" factor, which is partially why I passed on them initially (that and the price point). But for $100, it's a pretty solid plain black sneaker, which I needed in my casual rotation anyway.

See that's what I would think considering they're made with glove leather, but some people weren't happy with them for some reason. I might still pick them up, just not sure how many all-black leather sneakers I actually need.

Trying to figure out how to do this as cheaply as possible - shipping to Canada and exchange rate making me only think about getting one. High snob store dropping them too... Shipping is 47 bucks with two pairs to Canada on kith.. Pitney Bowes. Looks like shipping is 20 dollars per item on the high snob site, but doesn't cover duty and taxes.. Anyone have any input?

The last time I ordered they shipped DHL and I didn't pay duty or tax. On the other hand, homie in Alberta got hit with tax and duty. G/L, DHL is really hit or miss.

Either he's stupid or purposely putting the order number up because he knows they won't flip and hoping his order gets cancelled

If he did that on purpose to get his order cancelled that would be diabolical. But I think it's safe to assume that person is missing several brain cells
