I debated getting a custom closet company to come in and build the room the way I wanted.
Then, someone I knew recommended IKEA for the custom closet shelving.
I didn't give it much consideration, but as moving into the house grew closer - I went and checked it out.
They, believe it or not, have a great custom closet section.
You buy the "frame" and then can custom what goes within the frame, shelves, glass drawers, etc.
I built my wife two of the larger shelves in the master walk in too (eventually I'll do the entire walk in for her).
All in all, about $1100 invested for my room and her closet.
Much cheaper than the 3k quotes I received for just my room.
The frame is not "IKEA cheap".
Figures they have the special box and early - some idiot will consider it.

In the past they did but recently it has improved. But their site still warns 3-5 business day to process orders. Ordered the CNS on Nov 26 and they shipped Nov 30. And that was only because the weekend so was 1 day to process before shipping.

back in 11-12 i used to get stuff the next day being in NJ, then they outsourced most of their shipping and had to wait upwards of 11 days to get stuff

Already missed the boat on the CNS NBs going live on Hanon. Are there any other sites shipping to the US besides SNS in the morning? Was disappointed to see that End was doing an in-store only release...
