No sir! That is a WAY different analogy and could not be further from what is going on here. Totally different relationship from what you are saying and what is happening. 

Shoes,laces, Special BOX, Sox= a complete package of what was being offered for $xxx

Steak, rolls, salad= a complete package of what was being offered for $xxx

When one of those elements is left out the seller is no longer keeping up his end of the deal.

In your example you are saying is that the "steak" arrived so what ever as long as it shows up. This is off base in that all the elements have not arrived/been deviled as promised. The buyer(lord I better be 100% complete when I get home!) is missing two pieces of the promised order. Just like in my example...I used food because I'm stuck at work and I'm STARVING! hahahah!!

It is not JUST a box and sox...It's that dude did not get what he paid for Simple and Plain. No matter what plate it comes on :smile:

haha I just don't consider the box to be part of the meal. That's all. That **** can come on a paper plate for all I care as long as the steak and rolls/salad are on point. Same with the shoes. I couldn't care less what they come in. Honestly it never even dawned on me that some people cared about until I came to NT. I'm not knocking it, just makes me laugh. People in the Yeezy thread were critiquing the damn. To me it's just a damn box.

Beyond pissed... Ordered the Cyclades as soon as they got on the site. No special packaging, no socks. Unreal.

Not really, the page actually specified the shoes came in a special box. 
 
Has anyone gotten the socks? Curious what they look like. I'm typically a no show sock guy but I'm open to change.

I was an 11.5 as well. Maybe they had a shortage on the size.

Anyway, I said it on the NB thread and I'll say it here too. If anyone absolutely doesn't care for the special packaging and has a box they'd like to sell me please PM me. I don't care what size it is. I'll pay you for the box and I'll send you my standard grey NB box. I'll cover all shipping costs. Won't ever mention #boxgate ever again.

what was the shipping weight on your non-special box ups shipment? my archipelagos that were delivered last week were 4 lbs and my still in transit cyclades are also listed at 4lbs.
