well that almost can be said about the SG as well. do not know how many were made the first time. and yes the mossads are a must also. i never had a chance to score the first ST so this is a great opportunity for me. that is a shoe that i have always wanted. 
 
How do they manage to manufacture a different number of pairs of shoes than packaging for the shoes?
 
Thats ****** up on Kith': part no matter what. A package was purchased and you expect something. For them not to email and give a heads up is just poor service. Thats like selling you a cruise pckage with things to do and you show up and half the **** is closed. In a sense you got the package because of those little things. I dont know... just kinda screwy imo. But obviously some ppl dont care. Some do. To each his own. On that note. My shoes better come with a box or im *****ing. Wouldnt be the first time they pull some **** like that
 
And screw that Frenzy app, he shoulda just added extra captions or something different. He usually is pretty good about it, but given the V2 glitch, guess he wasnt trying to mess up twice in a row. Didnt cook but props to him being innovative, keeping the ball rolling
 
If they've pulled stuff like that why continue to support?

Adam Stubbs responded to a facebook post that I threw up in a RF group and he said they were short 26 boxes and they were all boxes for size 11.5. Cant stay mad, stuff happens. So, you may or may not have been affected. They are giving a 10% refund in the case it affects you. Not much else they can do so kudos to them for at least bringing down the overall cost of the shoe. Not sure why Kith's CS gets a bad rep, they have been nothing but responsive even if there isnt much else they can do.

I am officially done talking boxes, I swear. Going back to the NB thread but I will be back when his next NB collab hits next year, lol.
 
Good to hear that they are handling it appropriately. I'm an 11.5 too, and my shoes arrive tomorrow....oy vey. Oh well, I'm looking forward to the shoes. My favorite pairs have come with nothing special, so I'm not too bent. But I'll gladly welcome that discount :smile:

I feel you bro. Sour times on no special box.

They are doing something but the fact they are doing it AFTER the fact is just stupid! They are a major retailer and knew it was going to go down and should have sorted it out or addressed the 26 people that got skunked via email or letter in the box ect.

I hate to beat a dead bush but I gotta agree - mistakes happen. I for one have gotten over the whole thing. Was I bummed? Yes. But they did what they could, apologized and we move on. I'm sure they'll learn from this experience. Doesn't deter me personally from supporting the brand.

As an FYI, just as I was getting over the whole ordeal Adam Stubbs offered to send me his own personal box as a consolation. Stand-up dude. Didn't even have to but he's going out of his way to help a brother out! Okay. No more #boxgate talk. Seriously, fam. Back to the shoes!
 
The problem isn't really that it was a mistake tho. The problem is that for those 26's boxes, they didn't put the socks in them. Why is that ? They knew they were short, and they knew the socks weren't in the special packaging. There was no reason to not put the socks in there. So they basically sent 26 packages out with regular boxes and no socks, hoping that people wouldn't care or contact them about the issue.

I'm receiving my 11.5 tomorrow. We'll see.
