If Bosh is considered a HOFer why aren’t Elton Brand and Carlos Boozer?

Reggie deserved to get in the HOF, imo. He was one of the best 3 point shooters ever & his playoff performances were huge... One of the best clutch performers ever too.

Maybe. I don't look at him as a HOF'er. I have higher regards for that then most do though and it being the basketball HOF and not NBA HOF makes the arguments more convoluted. I've argued against Reggie before, but I don't know if I feel like it again today.

And why exactly do you all think Bosh won't be in the Hall of Fame?

Serious question.

Non emotional responses please.

How is Bosh a HOFer when people at ESPN are comparing him to Horce Grant. Saying there not much different from each other.
Be serious man. Be serious ESPN. Bosh gets a bad "rap" (as Floyd would say). How are we comparing him to Ho. Grant. That is outright disrespectful.

Bosh might be the most disrespectful dude in the NBA. All because folks thinks he has feminine tendencies.

Undervalued player.

If Harrison Barnes goes on to have a great career and makes it to the HOF, then why aren't Michael Kid-Gilchrist and Damian Lillard HOFers if they have a similar career?  discuss.

Bosh is gonna have to step up a lot more to be a HOFer. Wade keeps declining every year so maybe he'll get more touches in the future.

 :smh: @ Boozer even being a thought.

2 more rings and 2 more all star appearances will definitely get him in there has a gold medal and is the raptors franchise scorer career avg  18.9.2. If miller in in there bosh is as well

 so Chris Mullin is a HoF but Chris Bosh isn't?

Chris Bosh is for sure a HoF'er and if he gathers a few more asg's along with a few more chips it'll be surefire.

It isn't gospel but there is some science behind it. Basketball reference says Bosh has a 88% chance of making the HOF

Here is the current list

http://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/hof_prob.html?redir

They have CP3 above him and if CP3 or Bosh had an injury and ended their career today neither would get into the HOF in my opinion. Both of them (as well as Dwight and Melo, surprised Parker is below them) are in the If they keep going this route category.

I'm not a Bosh fan by any means (although i do love basketball, so naturally /hubie i respect his game), but I always find it a bit ridiculous to try and judge careers before they've finished.  Its especially funny with Bosh because he comes across as strange, goofy, dinosaur-ish to so many people and is an easy target for some hilarious online parodies... nevertheless it is interesting so many find it unfathomable of getting in the Hall of Fame...I'll just post a few of his career accomplishments thus far:

Chris Bosh NBA Career

...not bad

Now, do i think he's a McHale, Barkley, Malone, KG?  Absolutely not--  but in the nba, it's about being in the right place, at the right time. He's a terrific player and plays an extremely important role on what some believe to be one of the Greatest NBA Teams of All Time.  If you ask me, he's done well -- and is only going to build on what is already an impressive resume

When reggie miller made the HOF it dropped standards for making the HOF

With that said since Reggie got in Bosh will def be in

This quite possibly could be the dumbest two statements I've ever read on this site. Reggie Miller will forever be the face of the Indiana Pacers, gave some of the most memorable moments in playoff history and was one of, if not the best shooter of his time.

Ain't nobody give a damn about no Chris Bosh whether he's on the Raptors, Heat, Bobcats, Nuggets, Nets....whatever. Shareef Abdul-Rahim would be rolling over in his grave if Chris Bosh made the Hall of Fame.

To me they are different sides of the same coin

Bosh has been a better regular season performer and has been a productive post season player

Reggie has been a fringe all star performer in the regular season and spectacular in the post season

Regardless i give chris the nod into the HOF cause of the position hes in and cause hes a legit option on a championship winning team

Dont sound to butthurt next time...

Only way Bosh could even be CONSIDERED for the Hall of Fame is if the three of them stick together and win like 4-5 rings.

I think if Bosh would of stayed in Toronto or if it was only Bosh and Wade getting that chip maybe. Not sure about right now though, he's undervalued and overlooked playing as a Heat.

People forget Bosh is a franchise player. He just happens to be the 3rd best on a stacked team. In his Toronto days, he was a legit 1st option. I feel like going to the Heat kinda hurts his HOF argument but he has HOF talent.

Boozer and Brand on the other hand... I don't think so. These dudes had a few good years but I consider them really good role-players.
