If Bosh is considered a HOFer why aren’t Elton Brand and Carlos Boozer?

Chris Bosh, Elton Brand and Carlos ******* Boozer are really being debated in here about being 1st ballot Hall of Famers............

I'm out

Chris Bosh is a hall of fame player in my opinion. Probably one of the most under appreciated players out there.

Elton Brand and Boozer?? WUT???!!! Hall of Very Good, for those two.

The Hall of Fame really got completely broken when they let Mitch Richmond. :smh:

Now when I see any hall of fame case I think "Well Mitch Richmond got in..."

Elton Brand>Mitch Richmond, so I guess Brand is a HOFer.

Do you think Richmond got in because there was a significant drop off of SG talent after Mike (during their eras?) I don't disagree with you, just trying to make sense of it all.

Those could be the same reasons why may see a questionable selection from the center position for someone who may be eligible for voting within the next 5-10 years.

Maybe, but that seems like a really bad reason to put Mitch in.

It should be that way, Center was the most impactful position for 99% of basketball history so of of course there should be way way more C's in than SG's

I've often said the SG position is the most overrated among casual fans, people don't realize how quickly you go from Kobe, West, Wade....to Mitch Richmond.

So does that mean Brook Lopez might get into the Hall of Fame? :x

Trust me, I get it.

Think about how great the talent was at the center position in the 90's and early/mid-00's. Shaq, Ewing, Hakeem, Yao, etc etc....

I mean, Dwight Howard is most likely headed to the Hall, but outside of him? What centers from Dwight's era (if he even has one) do you see having a chance to make it? Someone WILL get that nod and will their merits will be debated like Richmond is. Marc Gasol?? Brook Lopez  ????

Marc and Pau will more than likely be in the HOF

I just can't believe some of the arguments dudes on here wrote for Bosh....that he won Eastern Conference player of the week a few times, once got the Raptors the 3rd seed in a bad Eastern Conference, was the third best player on a championship team  got damn these are the requirements for a 1st ballot HOFer nowadays I guess.

I guess if Bron stayed in Miami and Bosh won a couple more rings and stayed on a dominant team for a while longer than I would feel more comfortable saying that he would deserve it.

Marc and Pau actually deserve it, especially when you take into account their FIBA/International play. Pau would get in regardless of international play.

Some people don't like that it's the basketball hall of fame instead of NBA hall of fame but I like that, It's a museum, I want my kids to know about Sabonis, Oscar Shmidt, the Gasol brothers ect. ect.

They don't need to know about Mitch Richmond or Brook Lopez.

The Mitch Richmond disrespect, smh.

Pau Gasol is DEFINITELY a HOF, so is Bosh. Elton Brand would have been but, injuries derailed him. Webber is a no brainer HOF.

Without Zack Randolph (who is also, a HOF IMO) Marc Gasol would be nothing. Marc Gasol is vastly overrated. But Pau? Pau is a legend.

If Marc Gasol gets in the HOF, you have to put Rik Smits, Raef Lafrentz, Brad Miller, and Theo Ratliff in,

Yea...international play + NBA career is what's going to make Manu a HOF lock. A lot of people don't realize it's not just the "NBA" HOF.

Plus the fact that you can just look at prime Manu play and know that if that guy was running his own team he would have put up numbers.

He's a surefire first ballot HOFer

I can't rock with Zach Randolph being a HoFer though.

Wow dad that Jordan guy was good, what about him, Mitch Richmond? What did he do?

it's the basketball HOF, what's so special?
ya acting like we're erecting a mount rushmore

i aint losing no sleep if these guys get in

if he would've stayed away from Miami, I believe he would've been greater. And to whoever said Reg Miller don't deserve hof, wash ya face b

Dwight is absolutely a first ballot hall of famer. It's actually disrespectful to think he's anything short of that.

Dwight Howard is the most disrespected great in NBA history.

Bosh is a hall of famer without a doubt. Pau is as well. Marc....I don't think so.

Speaking strictly on NBA careers...I don't think Manu or Tony Parker are HOF worthy. But as "basketball hall of famers"....they are.

Also, why did this thread get bumped?
