Not as bad as people make them out to be, but don't see why you would get htose, when you can get Roshe Runs, which pull off the Toms look better than Toms themselves IMO, plus their prolly more comrortable, never had any Tombs

I love Tom's shoes for men.
Hands down the best summer footware outside of sandles...and someone that needs them gets a free pair.
@ the insecure NTers in this thread. If all it takes is a pair of shoes to dertermine your sexual prefs, then you may want to do a serious self evaluation.

- That cat in the Shoes I Would Never Wear (had me dying a few times) vid hit the nail on the head as far as my opinions on Toms.
- It's funny too, because back in the day (late '80s / early '90s), when I was studying martial arts intensely, I used to rock karate shoes that resembled Toms, with no shame. But, I guess they made sense to me at the time, because that's how I thought karate shoes were suppose to appear. They were mad comfy after a tournament or sparring session while I was still rocking my karate uniform.
- Like the dude on page 2 said, you kinda have to have a certain hipsterish type swag about you to make the look work -- as a dude. The Portland / Austin / rocker / skinny jeans / simple style / t-shirt / flannel / cigarette-in-hand / rock music / bar scene / live bands / playing the guitar type swag. You either have it or you don't...if you don't, they look goofy as hell-- clown status.
