is facebook dead? vol. myspace 2.0

good news for them is facebook is experiencing massive growth overseas.
And just like over here, it will eventually taper off before hitting a plateau, and leveling off. You think Zuck doesn't know this?

He's acquiring new technology and new applications to remain innovative and be ahead of the curve.

Had twitter, deleted everything. I was wasting too much time on It. People I need to communicate with have my line. Only NT.

i deleted my facebook about 2 months ago..

dont regret it one bit.

nothing but nonsense, IG is lame too.

all the memes and repost nonsense.

I read that fb is about to start charging users $3 a month starting November 1st.I thought it was a hoax but after seeing a few articles, I think it's legit. I wouldn't even be mad i* it were true, people need to break this social media addiction.

Mark already said to out this rumors to rest time and time again Facebook will never ever charge users

Only thing I use Facebook for was messaging but since most of my friends have adopted Whatsapp I haven't opened Facebook in several months.

Kinda like a double entendre, cuz this would obviously be facebook digging it's own grave...

And Zombie Ninjahood digging himself out of a grave

Facebook as we know it is dead. They aren't worth billions for no reason tho. I'm sure whatever the next phase is will reel people back in. I'm interested to see what they do with the Oculus Rift

Lol @ y'all thinking Facebook is going anywhere.

The government, advertising and marketing agencies, and various companies ...

Facebook provides them with tons of information.

My friend's younger sister and friends told me the other day after I mentioned something I saw on FB,that people in her age group (teens) don't use fb. They're more active on IG and Twitter. They only use FB for keeping up with family members.

Yep, and FB will only be integrated further into our daily lives as time goes on. Too many big players have their hand in this company for it to go wayward.

If Zuckerberg does it correctly, the Occulus Rift should change the way we live and communicate.

Only reason I still go on is to stay in contact with family over in italy.. other than that FB is trash.

I actually like FB still. I use it as a Linkedin sort of network for myself without the pretentiousness of resume snooping and paying for access to "higher-up" contacts. If I visit Gernany again and I know you're there, I'll hit you up on FB, doesn't matter if we haven't talked in ages or you haven't liked my pics. Facebook is simple if you make it simple.

Twitter is trash to me, it's like being in a crowded room and you can hear every single persons meaningless one-liners non stop.

I use the gram, but only for myself, I don't pay attention to likes or follows.

i don't use it, only keep it for family

everyone at work keeps adding me on there. and then are like "did u see my post? or, how come you're never on?" :x :smh:

and its annoying how people get their news on there and half of the time they don't know its from a joke news site... like cmon now, ya believe everything :rolleyes

bruh...

twitter is :x :x

instagramb should be changed to instayamb... b/c that's all its used for.

for some reason... i think social media is narcissistic.. i rarely post "selfies" or pictures of myself...

or lame *** memes...

i just :smh: at dudes that post pictures all day... i feel that is so feminine.

not saying feminine behavior is bad... but for a dude, i think there's just certain things you should and shouldn't copy from the other sex.

posting selfies fits in the "should not" bucket.

Twitter is actually really good if you use it correctly. For trading stocks or if you're a writer or something, you could really use TWTR as an asset. Kind of has a niche appeal though. All this stuff comes down to is who you follow.

Twiter is a great tool if you know how to use it, which most people don't. Get your followers up and the games begin.

FB is money for me because I can easily see what my family, friends and former classmates all over the country are up to. Don't have the time to e-mail/text/call all of them. Also my friends list has a good mix of serious and funny links/news/videos/status updates. Some of which end up in heated, yet intelligent, debates.

I use twitter for sports (sports news and my TL is entertaining and hilarious during games) and random conversations.

My IG I primarily use for pics I want to share with my friends and younger family members that I necessarily don't want my bosses or co-workers seeing (my IG is private). Also enjoy seeing my contacts' travels, major events, funny memes etc.

Social media is all about who you interact with and how you choose to use it.

My current problem with FB is that all I see now are a bunch of shared videos and news articles and then it's multiple people sharing the same things so it's like people aren't even posting what's going on in their own lives anymore. Or "15 people like budweiser" or "10 people like verizon"
