This is the YT video that brought me awareness regarding this topic:
& before any of you guys get any ideas, back off, she's mine >:

Do any of you guys use an electrical shaver? Not clippers or beard trimmer, but an actual shaver. I am trying to find a good one. Repped for the help.

Y'all use anything for razor bumps ? after shaving ?
Just got that African soap off Amazon. My body is ready.

I bought, use, and recommend this one.
It is pricey at $170 though sheesh when I bought it I think it was like $130.
Self cleaning and is the business.
Electric razor

I want to cop, but good lord its almost $200.
I have the 5 star shaver and it semi gets the job done. Is this any better ad eliminating ingrown hairs than the wall?
I'm black, if that matters, so ingrown hairs are more of a problem for us then non black guys
Well my one and only time with a razor was horrible, but it was close and smooth. Skin felt soft and it was the closest I've ever had. A couple days later, my face was covered with ingrown hairs :x
I would rate it right under a razor. your skin doesn't feel as soft from the shaving gel, but it is damn near as close of a shave.
My only gripe with the 5 star is the battery life. And sometimes it leaves an ingrown hair, but that may just be the direction I'm shaving. I've been trying to keep my hands lighter when shaving like an NTer told me in another thread, but I still have 3 recent ingrown hairs since my last shave.
I would still suggest it tbh. For the price and size and closeness. I'd give it a 7.5/10
I looked into it, but its a quarterly service where they ship you stuff to shave with.
Thats not really my thing. I just want a good electric razor that I can put in my travel bag and take with me when I travel or use at home.
Excited to try the African Black Soap but its not an everyday thing to use apparently? Maybe 2-3 maybe 4 times a week, and theres a "beginners" phase where your skin needs to get used to its oil stripping properties but THEN you bring sexy back.
Any other testimonies with ABS?
I bought a bar of ABS to test as an all purpose soap. Thinking in the future I'll probably go ABS for the face and dr bronners for the body.
Gonna grab some Indian healing clay tomorrow, I heard it works wonders. Probably gonna do that 2-3 times a week then taper off to once a week.
Picked up some coconut oil today as well. This stuff is awesome. Works perfect as a face moisturizer as well has a hair moisturizer. Probably gonna do that 6 week no shampoo thing with daily coconut oil use. Really trying to restore health to my hair after years of destroying it with synthetic hair products
appreciated it , im about to follow your routine a few pages back , might have to try that aztec indian clay .I was reading up on the recommended usage of that ABS as well. I was surprised that people said to not use it as a daily face wash since it has Shea butter in it & that stuff is super moisturizing.
Once I get mine in I'll probably use that 2-3 a week to start off & the Fugazi ABS every other time.
Regarding the coconut oil, the brand does not matter as long as it is 100% extra virgin coconut oil that is pure, unrefined & cold pressed.
Personally for me, the aforementioned CO clogs my pores so I recently discovered fractionated coconut oil. As it's name implies, it's a fraction of coconut oil but the process to remove a certain aspect of CO's chemical makeup also eliminates some of the "cons" for coconut oil... It does not solidify, has no odor & is non comedogenic. Still has the same benefits of regular CO as well.
This is the brand I have:
Also, that Aztec Indian Healing Clay is the truth. It's just a ***** to rinse off since you can't just hop in the shower/wash it off in the sink (that clay will dry, harden & clog up your drains something vicious).
