Disney needs to stop making these so kid friendly. That pilot sucked just so disney can make a show age appropriate for 4 year olds.

I liked this episode a lot better than the pilot. I liked the Thor reference, and I'm glad they toned down the humor a bit. I'm not going to be too critical of the show, because it's a SHIELD show on a small scale budget. I'm just gonna enjoy the ride. And that was cool of SJ to cameo.

Episode 2 was much better and a lot less cheesy.
I like the cameo too, it's short but a good addition. Makes me wonder if the bigger stars like RDJ or Evans will make an appearance, maybe in the finale? Not sure if they got the budget for an RDJ cameo though.

Renner or Ruffallo actually would not be out of the question.
Evans, i think he has the sense of humor to do it and to be honest RDJ is a perfect way for the finale to reveal what Coulson is especially if he is indeed a LMD of sorts.

They already have Maria Hill appearing on more than one episode so Scarlet isn't really needed I guess.
Plus they already have their eye candies for the show anyways.
Also, apparently the show lost a third of viewers from the premiere already. Show should still be fine with about 8mil viewers but it is probably not what Disney/ABC expected.

Just download In Her Skin when it comes out, Scarlett is suppose to be nude in it throughout the film.
Don't really want to encourage her character and it eventually becoming a stand alone film.

I enjoyed this episode. Pilot was better. Overall its a likeable show.Cameo was amazing. Wonder how much money he demanded to show up? Or maybe he had to.

I really think that the show could be a great success if they insert more less known heroes and villains in there, I mean the story is good enough with plenty of mystery and action is entertaining enough and the chicks are hot enough to keep your attention for a long time. Adding some random heroes here and there could really bump it to a whole new level because you actually want to see them, not just some good looking agents w/o powers going to random missions.
I think that is what kept Smallville on it's legs after it went downhill in the later seasons and that is what keeps plenty of interest in Arrow too.
Marvel is such a big universe that they can scrounge up some c-grade heroes to be on the show.

I remember in a news story awhile back he wanted to do cameos in the show. I wonder will they do a tie-in episode to movies if the show is on air when the movies release like Thor drops in November will there be an episode dealing with the SHIELD side of things
