Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. * S7 Premieres May27

What was it!!! I missed the end.I need a play by play!!!

Team of scientists had a machine that was basically operating on his brain, programming him like a computer to get him back alive.

He'd been dead for days, not minutes. The scientists found a way, and the machine programmed his memory to be "Tahiti" because he endured so much pain during the operation.

Fury directed them to do it.

So are they Hintin somehow that Coulson will be like a variant Vision after all?

aye like everyone else was expecting some magical **** was not prepared seeing Johnny #5 do work. :wow:

Nah the operation on the brain was to replace his memory, he was already alive when they were doing it. The doc in the end said Coulson wasn't the same and that he lost the will to live so they replaced his memory to bring back the "old" Coulson.

Hard to say he actually is LMD or Vision as he actually gets hurt and bruises and bleeds. I guess they can be that sophisticated but I don't know, kind of a reach?

Well it's not done yet, the doc said he was brough up for the seventh operation so there are 6 others we are not aware of and I think they'll reveal it one by one through the rest of the series.

I agree that they could have revealed more but the episode was pretty good so my complaint was minor.

So basically they revealed how they changed his memory and not how they brought him back to life.CMON MAN!!!

There is definitely a major reason why Fury brought Coulson back from the dead..

I'm lookin forward to seein/findin out more..

Episode was definitely a good one..they're building the story a lot better

Agent Coulson/Clark Gregg are electric. All of his scenes in the last episode were the first time I've truly been engaged into a moment while watching the show. "I want to die," that was chilling, and probably the peak of the show so far. The answers themselves were OK but that's besides the point.

Coulson is good enough to carry the show. Unfortunately they're still shaky with all the other characters around him. They either gotta step that game up (they gave Skye a good role for the ep) or just retool the show to focus on Coulson more.

So marvel experts, is skye some origin story for some superhero or just gifted like always is positive no matter the situation?

They better have a good reason why she was a 0-8-4.

 @ may telling coulson about ward and her like that.

It was so random though and not something a woman would usually bring up in conversation like that

Yeah, not sure where they're heading with Skye.

And, I'm waiting for them to start featuring the hot nerd pretty soon. Bound to happen.

I feel like this show is a complete waste of my time, and yet I keep watching it.
Feels like there's no substance to it. Kinda hollow if yall know what I mean
Every week I look forward to watching a new episode and after watching it I feel massively disappointed. Like someone just stole my wallet or something

Good thing next episode isnt until february 4th

Is it just me or are their previews for the next episode always has the "a must see event that will change the course of the agents"?

Nice foreshadowing of mentioning Bucky.

Stan the man in next weeks episode so it's a can't miss especially since they said he will have a bigger role than the usual cameos.

I think Skye is just an new original character, don't really want to see her to be revealed to be an existing hero in the comics.

Also, the longer they keep Coulsons secret a secret, the less interested I become, they just aren't adding enough intrigue for me to keep caring. Is it just me?

Was i mistaken or did that preview say Feb 2 for the next episode?

Yea abc been doing that all season hyping the **** out of the previews for next week :smh: always saying how its a life changing moment.

The show does feel empty. Like whats the payoff since its completely separate of whats happening in the movies. Yea they mention like "oh thor was here messed up the library" but then it deviates into its own story regardless of the movie. How exactly are they going make the show just as important as the movies? I bet putting the actors of the show as cameos in the movie would do no good since not many watch the show anyway. The shows connection is weak at best to the movies.

I look at it like this.

The show is like having a full 10-12 hours of extra "movie" footage on a blu ray. Only they feature the lesser characters.

Since the show is so spaced out (this is like their 3rd freakin break, in season 1  ) that it doesn't bother me.

If season 1 was done, and we could watch it all on blu ray and plow thru it in a weekend, it probably would move and close much more seamlessly. As of right now, it's choppy and they resort to "big reveals" each week to bring back interest week to week.

I'm guessing they will include something big in the finale to generate hype, lead up to the next movie, etc. Maybe a Thor appearance, or RDJ, something that will generate more buzz, and in the end, it's all just filler between the movies anyways.

On it's own? If this was a show all on it's own, brand new, it would have never made it past 6 episodes. But in the context of just being filler between movies, I can handle it.

If they get Skye and the hot nerd to hook up, well, 10 season minimum is all they'll get from me.

Lady Sif from Thor movies will make an appearance on the show soon.........

Hopefully as Skye's love interest. :pimp:

http://geektyrant.com/news/marvel-is-bringing-deathlok-to-agents-of-shield

Marvel has announced that the character Deathlok is coming to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. This is the first time the character will brought to life in a live-action project. J. August Richards, who appeared in the pilot and subsequent episodes as Mike Peterson, will now become Deathlok, and these are the details that they give us,

"Transformed into the cybernetic solider against his will, Mike Peterson (Richards) must struggle to find the man in the machine. With a high-tech eye that allows him to see through walls, super strength and increased speed courtesy of a cybernetic leg, will Deathlok fight alongside the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or against them?"

Executive Producer Jeffrey Bell had this to say in a statement,

"We have been waiting all season for this moment where we can reveal that Mike Peterson's story arc is an origin story. We're thrilled to have J. August Richards playing Deathlok and to have our audience enjoy this favorite Marvel character on the show."
Richards added,

"If you would have asked when I was nine-years old what I wanted to be, I would have said a super hero and I'm so excited to be one now as an adult on TV! It's a dream come true."
Marvel and ABC are sure doing everything they can to keep audiences hooked on the show, and I'm going to keep watching!
