Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. * S7 Premieres May27

They could have Pete on the show as a photo-journalist of the daily bugle but they could never mention him in the movies and for me that's too much of a tease. So close yet so far situation.

Man, that would be a tease. He's a major character for Marvel. If this show is suppose to be in association with the Marvel films, you can't leave have a story arc with Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the show and have no hint to him in The Avengers. If they were to even use Spider-Man, we'd see a whole new suit and a new Peter Parker? It would be cool if they had a clip where Andrew Garfield was able to reprise his role in the TV side.

For the show in general, I really hope we do get surprises where we see cameos from some of the main characters of the Marvel Cinemaverse.
 
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, executive producers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen were asked about the show's villains specifically, and whether it would be one or the other type for the show's inaugural season.

"There are gods and aliens," Jed Whedon said. "So we have a lot to play with. There's a spy aspect of the show and SHIELD is some of the most sci-fi in the Marvel universe because it's about gadgets. So we have a lot of different things to play with. It will be a mixture of both. We will be focusing on having every story having a beginning, middle and end." Jed went on to say "some of it will be mythology and some of it will standalone. And our character runs will continue through all of that." Maurissa Tancharoen added that "Marvel is a very vast and diverse universe." Well she is very correct about that! What villains do you want to see appear on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?" I hadn't seen this thread, will try to catch up, but lookin forward to this. Coulsen gonna get explained in detail I assume? (you guys probably covered that already)

Either way, I'll be watchin and hope they get a couple good seasons in to blend in with the movies.
 
I am not sure if Coulsons resurrection will be explained in the first episode but it might expand through the whole series. If you google it, there are suppose to be leaks on why he is still alive.
 
I'll check it out. Just hope it's not cheesey and filled with bad jokes.
 
Could see it getting canceled in 3 episodes...but hoping for a successful run.
 
Won't last. Acting is terrible.

I give it 6-7 episodes

Show is corny. However I think the ratings will be good enough for the premiere to where the entire season gets televised
 
Yea I cant really judge it off the first episode, but its basically Marvels version of Heros... It my last a few episodes..
 
Good start. They were a little corny with jokes (that's Whedon though) but It was enjoyable.
