Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. * S7 Premieres May27

The feel of this ep is different. I wouldn't say better than the change in tone after Cap2 but still good.

Everybody seems to be acting more experienced and badass

They bugging if they think this constant Bobbi and Hunter nonsense is an interesting subplot. Show don't need him to make her interesting.

Lash looks like a joke :smh: In the comics his appearance wasn't entirely monstrous. Dude looked like a big guy with muscles and some tribal tats. Not some half beast thing with weak Predator/Blackheart hair.

I expect most of this ATCU to be washed by the end of this season. Constance Zimmer though

Didn't know who Lash was but seems like an interesting character from some quick wiki research[emoji]128518[/emoji][emoji]128518[/emoji][emoji]128518[/emoji]
I really can't get mad at ABC after struggle "Hulk" last season but I like the direction of how the characters are "seasoned" but I do agree on the mockingbird/hunter melodrama bs.
I really don't see how or why the need for a spin off for them.
Glad my little crush is still alive[emoji]128516[/emoji][emoji]128526[/emoji]

Liked the premiere. The layout of the season is all here. Two organizations tracking Inhumans with Lash being the big baddie, finding Jemma, and Ward rebuilding SHIELD. I liked the tone and look of the show. I hope this season doesn't have too many plots, because season 2 was a bit overwhelming.

This season picking up a helluva lot faster than the last

Felt like it took forever for the previous season to get going

If they can keep up this pace... :pimp:

I need to re watch starting at the second half of last season. Ward is S.H.I.E.L.D again?

Loved the opener

Would love for the ATCU to end up as S.W.O.R.D. by seasons end

I guess I'm the only one who liked Lash's look?

Coulson can build a new plane but not a new hand? I thought Fitz was the gadget guy?

I wanna see Mack get that shotgun-ax

Please god, kill Bobbi or hunter or both this season

Simmons in the phantom zone?

So is Fitz back to being normal now? No more stuttering and what not?

Maybe

Maybe. Yes he is

Me too

Nah

Maybe

Looks like it  I liked the whole stuttering thing but doing that for more than a season is too much

Great premiere! Picking up right where they left off with S2.

Like others have said it's good to see a mature squad.

Simmons smh

Fitz has probably had some of the best/most emotional scenes of the series. He's a good actor.

But who's funding SHIELD?

I'd assume Tony Starks is the money behind all of it, since the Avengers base did move upstate

"Steve is the leader, I just pay for all the cool stuff" I think his words were.

Whoever it is, is who was funding 'real shield' before Coulson took over

Can't be Stark

Doubt it

Pretty sure Stark is in the dark along with the rest of the world when it comes to Shield

I don't think it's Stark either.

What is Fury up to now since the end of AOU?

I doubt it's Stark either, I asked the same question when AoU ended and leads to Civil War. If the government is on Starks side, then who is left to fund them? Goverment was also sour on SHIELD being HYDRA so I doubt they were funding the Avengers and that facility at the end of AoU and Stark pretty much left them on their own.

I'm really not sure this question will be addressed though.

After leaving the team at the end of Age of Ultron, one might wonder where Tony Stark is, exactly, as Marvel Phase Three begins.

“He’s still funding the whole thing,” says Kevin Feige. “He’s not necessarily going too far. He’s funding that whole operation in his father’s warehouse, as we learned in ‘Ant-Man.’ …I think we are seeing a Tony who is trying to become more responsible. There are things that happen between the movies that we’ll learn about in ‘Civil War’ that make [his arc] even more personal.”

Article just dropped. So Tony is still funding the Avengers at the beginning of Civil War

Fitz is a real one, never giving up in finding his bae. Simmons looking like she's stuck in the phantom zone. What has she been eating all this time? Dirt?

I forgot how coulson lost his hand.

Sad May wasn't in the episode.

He touched the Terrigen Crystal in the finale last season and then cut it off before his whole body turned to stone... something like that.

The premiere was a good episode. There are some characters that I have no knowledge of, since I only watch three episodes and the finale from last season.

Lash looked interesting. I wish he looked a little more like Joe Maduriera's version of him...But it's an upgrade from the enemy in the finale.

I wonder if Jemma will encounter someone from space? That would be neat if she's saved by Star-Lord (since Chris Pratt was on TV with Parks and Rec), but I highly doubt it. lol
