Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. * S7 Premieres May27

Tripp dead bruh. Actor who played him kinda sucked anus, so I hope he stays dead.

But then again, Tripp was spotted on the Avengers 2 set I believe
Even tho I'm not cool w/ the walking dead rule, I dont mind trip being gone, Mack is 100 times better integrated in the team than trip was.

Is there a clear explanation for what we just saw?

Skye is a daisy, Mr Hyde is a thing, what's her name needs to shave now, Tripp is dead, or something else, two May's, and Skye blasted Ward 4 times but he's ok.

Translations?

Huh?

Ward got shot a handful of times but he had a piece of kevlar that stopped some of the bullets so he lives.

The scarred May is the chick that put on that disguise to look like May, the device that went on her face got electrocuted so it got stuck.

MrHyde transformation was teased, I hope he does hulk out.

Skye was revealed as Daisy Johnson aka Quake.

It was the Terrigenesis Mist from the Terrigan Crystal that transformed or unlocked Skyes and Rainas powers?

I saw the random piece of kevlar in his shirt, that just happened to be there.

Ok, so she is Quake. I wonder if she will ever be put on screen in the film world, since Quake was a part of the Ultron storyline. (tho I know they have attached her to Coulson moreso than Fury)

I can dig it.

Being Quake, AND Inhuman tho? Is that normal, or are they crossing stuff together for this character? Is the comic Quake an Inhuman?

Does this mean that Skye is gonna start kickin May's *** whenever?

I think it was Zik who said that isn't really Daisy's origin, I am not 100% familiar with her to be honest. I don't think she was an Inhuman though I do think she was related to Hyde in the comics?

does kevlar even work like that?

i thought he had an ipad in his jacket pocket or something

Not even really sure it was kevlar, I just saw something that stopped the bullets when the poor mans May came.

I thought it was pretty bad *** that she shot him in the back like that.

I'm tired of the girls falling in love with the bad boy who redeems himself shtick. Having that regular character who toes the line between good and evil is just overused these days, or at least I feel it's overused.

Just keep Ward bad and irredemable

Yea, they revised Daisy to be an inhuman. I think in the comics she was a mutant. Yes she was related to Hyde in the comics.

I think it's going to eventually emerge that she has a second power. In the comics, only her dad had powers. But on the show, both parents were "special"

i thought Skye was gona become Captain Marvel. She was sort of floating at the end and had a glow. Is Quake a major character in Inhumans? like one of them in the pic on the last page. Also, will the pic on the last page be the actual Inhumans roster we'll get in the movie? Just picturing the dog already has me laughing.. I know nothing of them so excuse my ignorance. (Didnt know **** about the GoTG either and loved it tho)

interesting read. i like where theyre going with this, but four years early? or is this just confirming that the Inhumans have always been around?

Hyde was her father in the comics but the mother doesn't line up so I'm not sure if they'll just stuff that under a rug and never bring that up again

And Hyde wasn't a mutant or inhuman he took some syrrum that caused the Change

They can't just ignore the mom since her being an Inhuman lies within he moms DNA, not exactly Hydes. Seems like her mom might be a Kree or descendants of a Kree race.

They're not going to ignore the mother. If Skye ends up being both Inhuman and Kree :wow:

The show took a lot of liberties with the Daisy character so it'll be interesting to see where they take it

If you look it up, back in the Bendis event (Nick Fury's) Secret War, Nick basically tricked a few heroes (Luke Cage, Spidey, Wolverine, etc.) by brainwashing them to help him invade Latveria while it was being ruled by some chick (Doom at the time is dead or trapped somewhere). Nick had backup plans in the works to recruit a b-team of super powered ppl that were under the radar, many of them being the children of super villains and c-list superheroes. He chose Daisy Johnson to be his successor since he knew once it was revealed what he did to invade Latveria he would no longer be Director of SHIELD and would be seen as an enemy of the US, superheroes, and Latveria.

Daisy Johnson was the daughter of Calvin Zabo (Mr. Hyde) and some unnamed mother. Nothing was really known about her past until Nick found her, trained her and helped with her earthquake powers. She basically was being groomed as the next Nick Fury. She next shows up in the book Secret Warriors where Nick taking down his old foes from Hydra and Levithan cuz of a twist revealed to him that Hydra has infiltrated SHIELD since it's inception (this is the plot of Captain America: The Winter Soldier). Daisy runs a team of other powered children of superheroes and villains helping Nick in another secret war.

After they win she becomes director of new SHIELD and replaces Fury. Then in Secret Avengers she loses her position cuz of the UN and trying to kill the leader of AIM and is replaced by Maria Hill. It's only recently revealed that she's been secretly running things in the background like a boss in the shadows while in her spare time she assists The Winter Soldier in his new position as "The Man on the Wall" (which is a whole other thing and if you want to know about that read the WS book or the Original Sin event).
Not even really sure it was kevlar, I just saw something that stopped the bullets when the poor mans May came.
That was such bull **** :smh: He or fake May pulled out like a kevlar plate with 2 bullets in it meaning Ward only caught like 1 or 2 bullets in his side.

Yeah Zabo/Hyde is literally just a version of the original Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde story.

I don't see any future problems from here on out though. On the show the mom is dead, Hyde escaped while in the comics Hyde is still a bad guy and has no clue he has a daughter, while Daisy does her thing, and her mom still goes unmentioned.
They can't just ignore the mom since her being an Inhuman lies within he moms DNA, not exactly Hydes. Seems like her mom might be a Kree or descendants of a Kree race.
Well on the show they already addressed the mom. She's inhuman not Kree at least nothing points to that, given the way Cal talks they both were inhuman, she had the power of like eternal youth and was killed by Whitehall. In the comics Daisy's mom doesn't play much of a factor. Fury just tells her who her dad is and says dude to him experimenting himself some type genetic anomaly/mutation was passed down to her. They never said she was a mutant although that's pretty much the old description of being a mutant but it's never said she has a x-gene so how she has powers is never explained especially since they don't match Hyde's abilites.

Got this from another site:

"The current Inhuman comic series deals with the aftermath of a mass amount of Terrigen being released into the Earth’s atmosphere, and the people transformed by that are called Nu-Humans. We may hear that clumsy term incorporated into this series, but I’d much rather have the far more elegant Inhuman branding."

That sounds like a way to get around the M word, and sounds smart to me. I hope this is how it plays out for the remainder of the season.

Son this show is something else been with it since day one huge marvel guy here can't wait for it to start again!!
