I think this is more than simply Bobbi and Mack digging for info. He said he is worried about her getting killed. Whatever he meant by pulling the trigger must be serious.
 
I think they're setting up for the Civil War stuff. They're probably taking orders from Maria Hill. So they are pretty much trying to have a coup of Shield and take Coulson out of power. That's my theory.
 
Take Coulson out of power why? I remember Maria and Coulson are at odds. I don't remember what they disagreed on, however.

Just disappointed by the pacing

Maybe AoS would benefit from cutting down the amount of episodes

Real SHIELD :lol: That's dissing this show since Cap2. Seems those guys in the shadow Fury use to brief said **** what Cap thinks and restarted SHIELD right after Hydra got taken down. It isn't unlikely though, you gotta wonder what happened to all those non-undercover Hydra agents when SHIELD got taken down. Bet they couldn't easily transfer to another branch of defense. So somebody else just picked up the ball and kept on going.

So if it isn't Fury, I definitely wonder who is the director of this SHIELD and if any more cool agents based in the comics will pop up.

As for the ep itself, I felt Hyde brought together some of the lamest ppl possible to be a threat. Strong guy, screaming guy, metal scapels attatched to your finger tips gal (such a waste of this actress), and tech guy. Best thing about this was near the end when Reader revealed Hyde's a lab experiment not an Inhuman and alluded to him being judge possibly by Black Bolt (but it's probably someone else).
 
I can't see Fury being behind it. It doesn't really make sense. If he wanted to rebuild SHIELD immediately, pretty sure he wouldn't have gave Coulson the toolbox. This new guy could've been the next in line under Fury before Cap2 or someone who wanted his position before and just now has the opportunity to step up and take it.

I don't feel as if that was a diss. It was the truth. Coulson is starting from the bottom, with minimal resources, while it appears those folks  are the real deal.

The second half isn't even done yet
 
^I'm sure there will be awesome episodes coming up but that doesn't change my opinion at all.

AoS would still benefit from cutting down the number of episodes.

The episodes to start off the second half have been offensive

wow didn't even know they had this thread, but yea WTF is THE REAL SHIELD. I agree it looks like they're setting up the ground work for CIVIL WAR. I don't understand why all the high school kids were still knocked out at the football field. Like weren't their parents wondering were they were at?

But current Shield is partial to aliens, magic and nothing of this Earth while the Real Shield isn't.

Coulson's technically no longer human so Mack & Bobbi probably feels that clouds his judgment.
 
I really don't think Fury is the head of "Real" Shield

He was the one who made Coulson director for crying out loud lol

Fury is a huge liar though and his secrets have secrets so who knows?

I still expected/hoped it was Maria Hill led and it was Starks Shield or something. That's what I thought of when they were talking about the result of CA:WS events, that Stark would pick up the pieces and form his own enforcement group.


At least they weren't working for the General.
