Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. * S7 Premieres May27

That last ep didn't make sense to me.

Skye's mom turning heel came out of nowhere. She been all calm and the voice of reason and then she just springs the I never got over being butchered by Hydra and I distrust all humans, SHIELD is no different, die  :smh: Guess she is as crazy as Cal.

I guess it was good the whole ep had me thinking it was Raina who was trying to pull something. Seems in the end the Ultron prediction didn't get her enough good will to be believed over their leader.

At this point I'm tired of Inhumans until the royal fam shows up and hope this plot ends with the finale. Skye really isn't that important. Hope Ward dies in the end since they just up and decided to bring him back now.
Why?

It had nothing to do with AOS as far as rumors go. Just another Marvel project tv show with them planning to revamp some character.

she didn't come off as turning heel to me, it seemed like shield were the ones turning heel and she was just reacting to them.

That struggle Hulk..

Damn half of this 2 hr finale was straight struggle. The rest I really liked so I can say I'm overall okay with it.

Struggle Hyde looking like the hunch back of Notre Dame :smh: I was smh a lot this ep. I was losing hope too.

 @ Coulson losing his arm on some The Walking Dead steez and it being Mac that did it. I was wondering why he became so attached to that axe like he out in the wilderness. Should've realized it was chekov's gun and they weren't going to cut off the teleporter's head  Might as well give Coulson a cyborg arm though. It'll be so funny when he shows back up in an Avenger movie. Everybody gonna be like the **** happened to you?

I would've preferred Ward to die but I guess this show will be going on for a few more seasons so now they're trying to sell him as rebuilding Hydra. I never bought him liking face changing girl but it was funny he got tricked in to killing her.

I also love how the majority of all those real SHIELD leaders got killed off

:wow: @ that ending. Did not expect that at all. That was scary. Hope she aint dead though.

It was very up in the air given how the dialogue would go. The whole time I'm expecting Gonzalez to turn heel but he comes in arms open for peace. They it made it very clear Jiayang not just made the first move but went in for the kill going full heel.

It was just I don't SHIELD putting us on a list, it was I'm going to kill you guys until you're so scared you don't even come after us. It wasn't just heel but totally out of nowhere how crazy she is.

But anyway, with the **** going on in this ep nobody is gonna tell me it's cool that she's willing to kill her own daughter. Nothing was indicated at all she was this crazy and damaged cuz of Hydra.

And at this point I'm beginning to believe they're just some exiled rogue group of Inhumans that will have nothing to do with the movie or whenever the first of them show up in movies. They'll be quickly be dismissed as fanatics or w/e if mentioned at all.

So ,the season ended going into the conflict of the kree and the inhumans??? Guess there's skipping civil war,or getting us hooked even more to watch the rest of the episodes milk it until then?

They're gonna do what they did with the start of this season. It started off about just getting criminals, went hard in to Hydra which connected to Inhumans, stayed with that, and little to nothing to do with Ultron.

The end of this ep kinda heavily implied they'll play a much larger role with the Cap movie again. Coulson is forming an all powered team of agents. May's on vacation, looks like Bobbi will take a break too with that quitting talk, and the rest got positions that aren't really in the field.

I figure next ep they'll establish this new team and then go hard in to this registration civil war stuff. Dunno if they'll make the team at odds with each other again so they may all land on one side with like one Cap supporter being undercover.

Just because it wasn't hinted or expected that she'd turn heel doesn't mean it doesn't make sense of she's not capable of doing horrible ****. Just means you were caught off guard.

I can dig the heel turn. I was just surprised she tried to kill her own daughter in the end, cuz it really did seemed like she cared for her.

It's kinda amazing how my feelings for Cal did a 180. I hated the ****** at first. Then, he just got likeable. Out of nowhere. Lol

Btw, when Skye underwent terrigenesis, was that a mid-season finale or last year's finale?

Memory's foggy lol

*edit

Nvm, the first season finale was when Shield went down. I remember now.

I will say it again. Dude playing Cal was perfect casting. This dude is insane

Yea dude who played Cal did really good work.

I really, really liked this finale.

I bet the increase in inhumans is going to play a big part of the registration act.

Lol, everytime I hear some variation of 'I did not see that coming' or 'you didn't see it coming' I'm always going to think of Quick

She didn't turn heel per se....she was off her rocker since Cal put her back together like he said but he was covering for her since than village was supposedly destroyed by him.

Jiaying didn't really wanna kill Skye it was a get down or lay down type thing She could stop the plan. Plus she needs life force or whatever and Skye is powerful.

My issue is her not going after Hydra I mean they cut her up and were hunting powered people but she let them rock :rolleyes.

I like how they tied it together makes more sense than her being perfectly fine after your family was torn apart and being killed/dissected

And they made Raina sympathetic in her own sketchy way. Same with Cal but he had unselfish/noble intentions but was manipulated.

I didn't say she wasn't capable of doing horrible **** but that she does it just goes to show how hard they want the fans to accept that she is this bat **** crazy bad person. So they straight up draw no lines and make her go all the way bad. Evidence by her trying to kill her own daughter, a line even Cal won't cross. Cal, the same guy they spent the whole season painting as the crazy murderer. It's really transparent if you just step back and look.

I'm saying as a story it doesn't make sense. It's literally an out of the blue twist. It's pretty much why she felt like such a weak villain in this finale.

The writing clearly tried to make up for it after the fact with the whole talk with Cal and Coulson. Coulson suddenly realizes it wasn't Cal this whole time but Jiayang getting him to do a lot of what he's done. They took it even further by giving her life draining powers  :smh: They pretty much did everything they could in the end of last week's ep and in the finale's two hrs to hammer down that Jiayang is evil.

IMO that was pretty bad storytelling. They wanted an unsuspecting villain surprise without earning any of it. At this point in what they've done with villains I'd expected more than that. If their goal was to show Inhumans can be this hostile and insane they at least accomplished that.

I missed the first 40 minutes, but damn this was good. That last hour boii!!

Honestly, it just sounds like you were caught off guard and are just hung up on it. A lot of us were caught off guard to due to the lack of foreshadowing, but almost everything still makes sense in hindsight.

I think Cal's face turn was more surprising because of how much time was put into making him this villain.

Trying to kill her own daughter was a bit much, though. Cuz then the tender family moments they had doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah that's another thing. Her strong opposition and agitating stance against SHIELD seems really misplaced but again that's where the writing came in. They could've done better in making this a showdown between the two.

She could've played nice the entire time to get that liquid/rock thing back.

Yeah I guess. I'd say from the second she killed Gonzalez and her justification for it took me completely out of the story. Everything after that just felt forced with how most of it ended up involving that story. It just immediately had me thinking what the writers were thinking in how they wanted to execute this. Lets introduce Skye's crazy dad that's been killing anybody to find his daughter (and I never bought him as the bad guy, just insane even more so when his back story was explained) and then lets reveal that her mom is alive and actually the real evil mastermind :smh: :rolleyes

Just wasn't good to me given what they just gave us with Hydra and the previous season.

I was fine with enjoying the whole torture of Bobbi and see how that played out.

Only thing I found weird about that is how quickly Ward dropped his obsession for Skye and fell in love with Agent 33. I was waiting for the shoe to drop there as well but since he killed her I got a real good laugh at out of his stupidity.

Yeah but then when Skye was in trouble wasn't it Ward who decided to help when he found that out? Son was still acting really creepy with her after she shot him.

Maybe he's like Mac and not in to alien yambs.

So I thought it was going to be by a huge bomb, but we pretty much have our explanation for other human people that shall be popping up soon.

Yo, what is gonna happen to Simmons???? :wow: :frown:

Bobbi's torture. :x

Ward taking over Hydra will be fun.

Skye getting her own team.

Hot red head that can multiply herself........man, the possibilities......... :smh:

It's science bia tch.

33 was lookin RIGHT, I don't wanna see her go.

Glad Raina is gone tho, tired of those quills & ****.

Show's come a long ways in 3 seasons. Really enjoyin it right now.
