Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. * S7 Premieres May27

I'm curious if they are crossing a fine line with that though? I mean I hope next weeks episode doesn't spoil anything for the movie, it's looking like there's a bigger event in TWS that will affect SHIELD overall than there was in Thor2 so there wasn't a big spoiler on SHIELDs end. I hope what is happening in the show isn't exactly due to what happens in the film.

I think all the people that watch the show are going to see the movie opening day or before tuesday. OR they will hold off from seeing the episode til then. I think they are banking on that

Originally what I was getting at tho was that the season is probably much cleaner/clearer plowing thru it on dvd than all this stop and start 6 months for 1 dang season stuff.

I understand WHY they are lining things up, but for the show itself, it will probably be an easier watch via disk than it has been week to week.

Like with Breaking Bad, or The Sopranos, you needed that week to let each episode set in. Chew on it, absorb it. This one, I don't feel that. I feel like marathoning it would help it so much more.

Maybe I'm wrong, just how I feel it right now.

This is like SOA or TWD to me. I think some shows are PERFECT and can be understood better if watched all at once

See the movie :D

In 7 hours. :D

**** they should. The amount of wait we had to endure for a sub-par season.

Maybe it's just me but after watching Cap 2 and then watching the beginning of this ep it is confusing as **** if you're trying to guess ahead and predict how things will end up

Well it's about time

Now I'm still holding out hope that Ward is Hydra. I don't like dude but it's a toss up between him or Triplet being Hydra too.

I'd be very mad if I haven't seen TWS because that pretty much spoils the film.

I have a feeling Ward is going to be Coulsons mole to infiltrate Hydra and that Hand is probably in the same situation Fury was in TWS.

The writers have definitely been paying attention to our complaints.

I don't know about that, we still haven't seen much "super" heroes/villains and last week Deathlok was in the show very briefly.

Show definitely got better and more interesting but they need to make Skye Ms Marvel and Coulson Mar-Vell already.

There aren't many powered heroes or villains though. After Avengers, we may see more but for now, there isn't many.

:pimp:

 @ that ending though. Could've at least had him say "Hail Hydra" instead of all that silence.

I'm wondering what was the point of all that emotional **** with him and Skye, he going for a long con later on? I doubt he'll turn her.

Anyway, by next season Ward is dead or on the run with the rest of what's left of Hydrea and Triplet will most likely be joining the team.

True but I think we can all agree the universe is getting way bigger with ant man, defenders consisting of (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist) doctor strange, guardians black panther these are all character marvels confirmed that we haven't seen yet

I won't lie given who the actors are that doesn't sound interesting at all.

Sounds like bad tv.

Were there really rumors of Coulson being Mar-Vell? Really? I mean ignoring the completely different origin I don't see the point in giving him super powers. Let him just be a spy/former agent of shield.

Same for Skye being Ms. Marvel. That character needs to be in the movies. Not tv. Let the tv shows have the street level characters.

I wouldn't even know what to say if the show about agents of Shield became nothing but superheroes and just curved on the spy genre (as in and out as they do it on this show).

To me that's just doing too much and going the extra mile for no reason.

So Hand gets the Fury fake death but Ward is okay with killing those 2-3 guards like it was nothing? To me once he killed that fake Clairvoyant the way he did let us know he's an unrepentant murderer.

I really hope they don't spin in it to make him a mole or really not a bad guy and that he simply just dies or completes the heel turn in to enemy.

Just that they got injected with Kree blood that gives me that inkling feeling they'll be Marvel and Mar-Vell.

As for Ward, he really does seem to be a double agent, in the previews they even said welcome to Hydra so he isn't an existing member. Wouldn't be surprised if they go that route, they have at least 5 more episodes left iirc.

Of course there are, they just refuse to use most of them. They already featured a few obscure ones like the Asian with fire and Gravitron. Deathlok was originally super-powered too even before he got injected with the extremis/alien tech. They just need to reach in their vault and use some of them, even the obscure ones.

Baron also touched up on plenty of experiments that didn't survive whether they were trying to give them power or activate the powers in their genes or however they plan to make "mutants" but there are plenty there that exist. Heck they are about to start shooting Luke Cage, IronFIst and Daredevil shows that are in-line with this universe so super powered beings are out there.

To be honest as good of a twist the clairvoyant being a SHIELD agent, kind of disappointed it wasn't a real psychic.

I really like deathlok on the show I hope we see a lot more of him to be honest the one thing i didn't like about the show at first was the lack of a reoccurring villain I think having him running around makes the show more exciting

Yeah, they're there, but there's not many IMO. Of course they could just bring in whoever they want, but the whole issue with them not using mutants slows that down a bit. They can't just keep bringing us villains that have been experimented on. Something's going to have to go down, that unleashes all the insane powers were accustomed to seeing. We are getting someone new though. I believe the character is blackout.
