It might not be a cure but more of a suppressant? Remember they did manage to remove the Extremis off of Potts at the end of IM3 so it isn't something you are stuck with for life.

I read a tweet from that ABC is re-airing the Pilot tomorrow night. Maybe you could catch it then?
After watching the episode again, I can see why people are annoyed by the corny jokes. But I really think this show can turn out good. I'm hoping next week's episode reveal a new Marvel character.

If they know about extremis, this must take place after IM3. That also means AIM is possibly still around. Episode had some cheesy moments but I did like it.

Pilot wasn't bad, it kept my interest for the hour and yes at Skye. I just hope for the rest of the season they polish up the dialogue and cut down on some of the cheesiness. They gave Agent Coulson just too many jokes and one liners, bring some of that down and let him be a little more serious. Really enjoyed the references to the other Marvel films.
I wonder that if Coulson turns out to be a android that it will be somehow be related to Ultron or Ultron's storyline in the next Avengers film.

Sadly, the cheesiness is somewhat Whedons signature so I do not see it going away at all.
I also do not like the main guy, Ward I think, he looks somewhat goofy or like a comedian to be taken as a seriously badass spy. I just do not buy him in the role, they could have casted better I think.
More Skye because why not?

The way she was dressed I thought she was the Ice Queen from Xmen,lol...
And being that this is a Joss Whedon show I remember Buffy and Angel starting out slow but you see how those turned out, so I see this (hopefully) lasting...
Need that Nick Fury ( Sam Jackson) cameo tho, hell I'll take David Hasselhoff Nick Fury as well, lol
