LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —  A lawsuit was filed Tuesday against former USC standout and former Clippers guard Nick Young by a woman who alleges the basketball player drugged her and had non-consentual sex with her.

The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court against Young and the Crown Bar in West Hollywood.

The woman’s allegations range from sexual battery and false imprisonment to intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.

She refers to herself as Jane Doe in the complain, and is seeking damages that are unspecified.

The woman’s lawyer, Marvin Wolf, confirmed that Young, who currently plays for the Philadelphia 76ers, is the defendant in the lawsuit. A representative for the 76ers could not be immediately reached.

Young, 27, plays both as a small forward and a shooting guard, and once played basketball for Cleveland High School in Reseda.

The drug that the woman alleges Young used is Gamma-Hydroxbutyric acid, or GHB — often referred to as the date-rape drug.

According to the complaint, the woman was at the Crown Bar in West Hollywood with a friend on Aug. 12, 2011, when Young approached them and offered them drinks.

The suit also states that the plaintiff knew Young from two prior meetings.

“Plaintiff accepted and consumed a champagne beverage that had been offered to her by … Young,” according to the suit.

Court papers also say that the woman alleges that she does not remember what happened after drinking the beverage, but she believes she was taken by Young to his apartment, where she alleges he had sex with her.

When the plaintiff woke up the next morning and asked Young why the two of them were naked in his apartment, he reportedly replied that the two began having sex the previous night, but that they had stopped when she passed out, according to the suit. Court papers also suggest that Young complied when the woman demanded that he take her home.

Ensuing tests later confirmed that the woman had been given GHB, according to the suit, which also says that she underwent exams at the UCLA Santa Monica Rape Treatment Center, which revealed anal and rectal bleeding.

In addition, the suit says that the woman has undergone both psychiatric evaluations and treatment, and also alleges that Crown Bar employees failed to provide the proper security to monitor the behavior of guests.

Young played for USC from 2004 to 2007, and was selected to the All-Pac-10 First Team between 2005 and 2007. He was later traded from the Washington Wizards to the Los Angeles Clippers, where he played a pivotal role the team’s playoff birth in 2012.

When an individual gets raped, generally you hear of victims either feeling extremely violated and seeking justice immediately or feeling too ashamed of the situation and taking it to the grave.

This allegedly happened in 2011?

I'm not goin for it.

The report says it was proven she was drugged. Unless you're saying she drugged herself afterwards to frame him.

How did they find drugs in her system when the alleged rape happened so long ago? Shouldn't the drugs be out of the system within a couple days at most?
