Broadcast contracts are higher now for ESPN but no worries for them, viewers will get even more commercial breaks and product placement to make up for it.

That's disgusting leaving 400 people unemployed and then blowing money on something useless that adds absolutely nothing to the quality of the programming.
I know we all hate ESPN for focusing more on entertainment than sports, but are there better alternatives out there? I like people breaking down X's and O's, not talking about D Wades pants.

Not sure about X and O breakdowns, but as far as a SportsCenter aleternative...NBC Sports "The Lights" >>>>>> they just have a voiceover doing continuous highlights of the previous nights games, no tweet analysis bs and histrionics
