Django went from the fields of white cotton to the White House, but he still standing behind a white

I am more upset with the fact Foxx would get on board with a movie with such a predictable plot. Seems to be a bit below his ability IMO.

I would have too I mean if anything I don't see will being a sucka and needing a white man to save him in the White House. I mean will woulda probably been in more shape than the dude saving him not to mention taller than tatum

I'm black as well and I don't think the question that should be raised as to where Jamie Foxx is standing in a poster for a movie. However we should ask why is it that in action movies the lead protagonist is generally a white male. Black Presidents in TB shows and movies have been "acceptable" for some time now but if you think about there still is a lack of minority lead protagonists in major action movies.

I am aware that some of you will be quick to point out movies that Denzel, Will Smith and Wesley Snipes have done but other than those actors there have not been many cast as the lead protagonist/hero in major action films.
 
I do find it hilarious that Obama becomes president and gradually multiple movies about the White House being in danger have been made.

I agree with everything u just said. BUT I think the real problem is the black actors tryna cater to everyone else and not embracing "where they came from" I miss those boys in the hood, takes from the hood, menace II society, Friday, the wood, new jack city, above the rim type of movies. Those were movies made for us by us without us tripping off us getting starring roles. Now we are castes in "their" movies mad at the role we got. Well how about we go back to doing us. We support our own movies its just not that many people are making em. And don't not one damn person mention Tyler perry
