I haven't played Pokemon since Ruby/Sapphire, just found out some 4chan dudes made Pokemon Sage (which looks much better):

I feel like I've never seen some of these type combos before.

All three of those starters suck

The grass/fire/water starterd are used to teach new players type advantages.

Cant really think of a other 3 types that would work the same

Edit: i guess fighting/psychic/dark works..

Too "complicated" (but it's really not though)

Copped a 3DS and Alpha Sapphire a few days ago, no regrets at all. Picked up the Darkrai even at GameStop yesterday, also got a shiny Xerneas from a distribution going on. I missed playing these games fam.

Found my 3DS yesterday forgot I was breeding dratinis

We byke for sun and moon?

Depending how I feel in November, I might actually cop one of em and a 2DS

I just bought X for my daughter this past weekend and she enjoys it more than Pokemon Go for obvious reasons.

They should of added less than 100 new mons every generation. It was enviable that they were going to run out of ideas.

a fish named wishiwashi :x

aloha marowak is now fire/ghost

aloha raichu is now electric/psychic and can surf on its tail

I cant believe that after all the stuff that they've done to mix things up with Pokemon that they haven't addressed the most stale thing about Pokemon, the starter typings. How many times must we get the same three types to start, with random second typings that did nothing to affect the balance except in the cases of Blaziken and Infernape which all it did was make the type thats usually the best even better than the other two. There are so many other Rock-Paper-Scissors typings they could throw out there, I would love to see a Psychic, Dark, Fighting rotation come about.

I mean I get it, Fire, Grass, & Water is easy to understand and helps new players adjust, but Pokemon has been around for two decades, there's hardly anyone left to teach. Its time to change it.

What they did in X & Y was a start, but dont do it halfway, go all the way.

The other day I stumbled on the Pokemon US Championships on Youtube and watched a bit of it, and it was the epitome of why I hate competitive Pokemon. A game that has 600+ pokemon and every kid that played used the same pool of like 10-16 pokemon with the two best kids using the same 4 ones. Its so wack, and all the move sets are the same, how is this fun.

The online Smogon kids aren't much better, the pokemon list that kids use online probably maxes out at like 70, and its all the same movesets too.

Some games just aren't meant to be played competitively and Pokemon is one of them.

^ Agreed, I didn't even know there was competitive Pokemon battling until I heard about Smogon and EV/IV training. Very interesting stuff.

Yeah, I'd be down for Psychic/Fighting/Dark starters. Considering how almost all of this new generation's Pokemon has interesting 2 typings, I don't understand why they haven't already gone forward with it.

Worst case scenario: just include some Fire/Water/Grass Pokemon that can be caught early on in the game to mitigate any confusion/worries.

Competitive Pokemon is horrible. They day Nintendo released the stats is the day they ruined everything. Someone put me on and I tried to get into it but I couldn't, the worst thing is the switching. People who constantly switch Pokemon <<<<<<<<<<<<

Back in my day if you swapped out you were scared.

I did play Pokemon Stadium One the other day though and found myself swapping somewhat often.. The shame.

Truest Meme of all time.

100% agreed on your second point, enough is enough already.
