Detroit "street rap" was heavily influenced by bay area rap. When i went to college cali heads was amazed i grew up listenin to dru down, rappin 4-tay, richie rich, spice-1 etc

Most definitely, the Lordz and Chedda Boyz both used to collab with 40, too short, b legit,etc..Its similarities but Detroit hood rap got its own twang to it

I rock with these boys from what I've heard, I wish they would have stayed on their own. Nothing has ever come out of CTE. And Detroit rap is = 90s Bay lol. Midwest Rap usually sounds like cats are from the Bay or South.

I agree they should have did their own thing but to their credit, they have an ACTUAL record deal, i believe they may be the first to be signed under Jezzy for real, im guessing them other dudes just had tshirts and chains.

Its really up to them though, that Jeezy cosign can only get u so far. Byt he seems dedicated to getting them popping, you can tell he got some money behind them

I can't wait to see what comes from this. I still wish Blade would have came up years ago. They rep the D for real and are known so they good in my book.

If juan was out the boy dusty would be next. If this works out don't be surprised if team eastside is next
