I don't really keep up with this stuff anymore, but man, that was really nice. As far as Sway's freestyles go, this probably knocked Papoose off the #1 spot.
I hope that does not include Sway and Tech days. Because, if so, Pap would be lucky to crack the top 200.

there's always that one *****
Yeah, I don't get that argument for anything, and for two main reasons.
1. What does, "but he doesn't make good music" mean? There are many different forms of great music. Is going in over somebody else's beat with just a bunch of dope braggadocio bars not music? Of course, it is. Some people say that this guy can't make great music. I say he just did. If you don't like that "element" of hip hop, that's a HUGE segment of the culture you are cutting off. ...Also, how far do we extend this? Should be apply the same "he's just going in on somebody else's beat" to everybody who ever recorded over a clear rip of Nautilus, Funky Drummer, etc. Hip hop is about THE SAMPLE, this is just the most blatant form of that.
2. How much rap out there actually says anything profound? Seriously. For most, even great rappers, they drop a few jewels here and there and spend most of the time talking about typical hood stuff or how dope they are. And, further, if you are actually being educated by a rapper, then you should probably spend more time learning in the first place. If you learned about the US's history of coups and imperialism from Immortal Technique, that's evidence of your own ignorance at least as much as it is of his brilliance.
