that's what i was thinking... the d200 isn't even full frame i think... its cropped.. i think... the price is good but the d90 has video, and just seems better (review wise if you look it up)

Yea, I mean I guess from research it isn't an amazing deal but its a fair discount for what the sellerclaims is a fairly new Nikon bought this month and only has 5hundsomething (I can't remember the exact number ) shutter actuation. Plus the"extra" 8GB Sandisk Extreme III card, which I know sells for less now, but even if found at $30 bucks, hey, it's $30bucks. Sooooooo, in realityi'm saving hummm... maybe 30-50 bucks plus tax, plus money for a SD card, maybe shipping depending on the website... huh decisions decisions decisions I'm trying not to be such an impulse buyer as I tend to be, so let me quarterback this and think it over just a little more...

I guess so far my options are:
$850 - "rarely" used body only with 8GB SD card
$890 - body only (BHphoto)
$972 - body only, 8GB card, ex. battery, camera case, cleaning kit, and USB reader (adorama)
$1160 - Cam & kit lens which by the way, after doing the math, if I decided to purchase the used body only but wanted to buy the kit lens later, it add upjust about the same amount (cause if I'm not mistaking the 18-105mm VR is $300), OR I could take that "extra" 300hund and buy a 50mm lens or 35mm(for now since I have a kit lens from the D50), which leads me to my next question, which one you think be best with the D90 (50mm/35mm) AND AND AND AND...still get closer to purchasing a SB-600/800 as well. (BH) DUNNO! Jeezzz

Any input or advice would really be appreciated NT.

forget all that and buy a Canon ..

Or you can visit a nearby Circuit city and hope you find a D90 Kit for 909 ..

Or get a super Canon XSi refurb for $430 ....

LOL the funny thing about that is I've had a couple of cams, will admit mainly P&S but the one I most enjoyed has been a Canon G5, I enjoyed all manualfeatures, capability, even shoot in RAW BUT with that said, I'm not big or at the level to participate on an ongoing debate about canon vs nikon it'slike windows vs apple (mac user by the way), Kobe vs Jordan, biggie vs pac or jay LOL... Never ending debates with valid points. However since the introductionof the D90 it's been calling me and I feel I can use many of the features (not including the limited 5min HD capabilities). So... I continue to think thisone through. By the way I check a few CC with no success. They pretty much done for.

Maryland... Based on some pics you've posted think familiar withe area but I've been to PG, Wheaton, Largo, and Rockville... Rock had some but thediscount wasn't convincing at the time, I came back days later and they was gone! Called my folks in bmore and said the one outthere was done too. My badfor typos... lol -- I know all DMV CC are pretty much wack now - I'm hoping they do another 10% drop this weekend so I can go to NYC and buy a 40D or 5D I seen in theshelve, but with my luck they'll probably be gone .. I know they are down to their last weeks March 21 has been rumor to be the official last day, letssee!

^^^^The pics on stage look really good with the natural lighting. Ever since getting into Nikons (again), I super interested in knowing how the other camerasperform and the differences. I saw someone shooing a D300 over the weekend and it looked really good from looking at some of the pics.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing Mr Fong .. I'm wondering the same over the Canon side and soon I'm probably moving up to a 50D or Classic 5D .. notsure yet!

everytime i try to take pictures with natural lighting...it ends up being way too dark. how do i fix this?
