Either crank the ISO or reduce the shutter speed - Example if you shooting 1/100 go down to 1/50 that will let more light in ... Depending on the DoF you aretrying to achieve maybe you can open the lens more - Instead of shooting f/9 try to go down to f/5.6 .. that's just stuff you can do to let in more light... how about you post a picture with the exiF data and we can view it and give you a better solution!

Thank you
why would we flame you??

for $200 I'm assuming you want a point and shoot (as opposed to a dSLR)... I'd recommend a Canon Powershot. Not sure exactly what model but from whatpeople will say on here and what friends of mine say everyone who has one likes it very much. Look up different models and see what suits your price range andwhat has the features your looking for

On ebay I've seen factory demo d40x for $380 body only (I paid $410 for the d40 kit brand new off of B&H) so if you look around maybe youcan find a brand new one for cheap.

We MUST be in a recession...hiring low budget photographers with horrible Nikons to take pictures.

Unfortunately not yet. I'm patient enough to wait and find one within my price range for a brand new one.

why didnt you get the one from your boy?

I been reading around and although there are difference .. people say that going from an XSi to a 40D is not a big jump .. all you are getting are some extrabell and whistles and better AF points .. besides that IQ is the same ....

Out of these 3 which would be the best bang for your buck?

Canon Powershot G10
Canon Powershot SX10 IS
Nikon D40x with 18-55 mm lenses
Canon Rebel XS with the 18-55mm lenses

also, link to the D-40 on amazon?

Thanks!

If you want to get serious with photography, step up to a dslr already bro. I don't think you can go wrong with either the D40 or the Rebel. I suggest you go try out both and see which feels better in your hands.

Hey Rap ..

I havent seen you around, I been wanting to ask you how much did you pay for your 5DII? If you don't mind me asking, you can also let me know via PM ....

Thanks man!
