That's funny.....I was just saying to my buddy how Darius Miles used to be good but now he seems to be almost non-existent in the NBA. He didn't evenplay yesterday and I guess he is off of Jordan brand too.....but I don't stay that close to sports like I used to.
I only have two lenses so I was using my 10.5mm fisheye and my stock VR lens that came with my D90. I got lucky cause I came with the DJ so they kind ofallowed me to bring in the VR lens which I don't think you can do as a normal fan. Also all the photos are photoshopped so don't think that is how theycame out of the camera and I snapped a bunch of photos and only came out with a handful of good ones. Luckily I was able to sit almost courtside so I did getsome pretty close shots but I was getting c-blocked by those damn Canon shooters....haha.

^^^^^The last one looks the best to me. I am going to try to do some desaturated photos. They seem to have nice feel to it as apposed to blasting thesaturation up like I always do.

On these shots I wasnt being negative .. I meant that I havent posted in a freaking while and I actually miss it ..
and I also meant that I will not be posting pictures of the people I shoot because I dont feel that good about it .. I can see where Rap was coming from .... Iposted in other sites that the people are part of the community ..

Dude....that photo set is dope! I have no idea what you are talking about. I mean coming from the portraits that we all did, those are just top notch in mybook. I had the hardest time thinking of ideas how to shoot and I think those are really good examples of what to do.

Oh......my bad. I am at work trying to do the multi window thing (working and browsing at the same time) and probably read some stuff wrong. I always feel likeyou crap on your own work....so maybe I just took it as "here he goes again!". But no....seriously dude....I like the pics a lot. That is something Iwant to achieve with portraits and haven't really found it.

You have skills fong and if you get a dedicated lens none fisheye .. I bet that your work will be superb .. I also know you probably hate using flash .. butits a must for stuff like that .. if not you find yourself over/underexposing the overall picture .. I mean that in order to expose for the subj the sky willbe blown out and for the ambient the subj be under expose .. sometimes you need that fill flash to light the subj because there's not enough light etc .. Idont know much but Im trying to read ... those are some of the tips I can give as of now ..
P.S. There's no starting point with working with ambient light .. at least I haven't read any or found any .. every time you shift change or even fart.. you might have to adjust shutter or flash .. hard hard hard if you ask me man ...
