I honestly tired to shoot abstract stuff like this yesterday but for some reason my brain doesn't process like this. My mind just wants to frame stuff upin my camera. Still, it was interesting trying to shoot abstract style. Here are some harsh black and whites:

i love this. the contrast is high but i feel like its perfect for this pattern. beautiful way to utilize b/w.. use this is the pattern post!

^ Looked at the whole set on Flickr and I definitely like it.

Definitely not used to seeing wedding/reception pics through a fisheye, and IMO its a good look (as long as theres also "normal" pictures to go alongwith the fisheye pictures.)

^^^sexay sexay! i wont let myself even open or use mine until im done with finals. self-restraint SUCKS!

cant wait to see your new contributions though!

I don't know anything about fuji cameras. I'd recommend going with Nikon or Canon only because there are more lenses to choose from. Personally I'd recommend the d40 kit.. its cheap ($410 shipped at B&H), good, and def a starters camera

thank you for the info... i'll look into that

quick question i just got a new D200 today from bestbuy.

every single picture i take a little line on it. i thought it was the lens but i swapped it out and its still there.

heres a few pics to show what im talking about.

any way i can fix it or does the camera need to be exchanged?

akf0dy7 that look likes is dirt/dust .. you need to read the manual .. go to sensor manual cleaning lock the mirror get a rocket blower and try to blow that$#%# away .. dont touch the sensor dont use can air or qtips or anything but a rocket blower ....
