Also Carnival is being celebrated in the Bay so that will be a good thing to photograph as well.

Another HDR of the Painted Ladies. I'm not sure why but this spot has become one of my favorite spots to go and photograph.

Obviously it's not very good but I just wanted some C&C to help me become better at making them

DJ Bana - I need to run by Miami this summer. I live in Boca, unfortunately. I go to school in Nashville during the fall/winter/spring, though.

Thanks to those of you that added me as contacts on flickr.

I got a 50mm f/1.8 lens and a flash and a vertical grip, but I think what made me a better photographer was just getting out there and shooting alot. I carry my camera pretty much everywhere with me and, at the very least, in my car. I've been reading a lot and watching D-TownTV (http://www.dtowntv.com/ for my Nikon heads) too.

tommykairaa: I like both shots, but I think that if you toned down the yellowthat they would look a LOT better. In Photoshop, try Image>Adjustments>Variations. I think if you do Auto Levels that it would take out ALL the yellowand then it wouldn't even be the same shot. That's just my opinion, though. Good shots, all the same.

Addicted To Exclusives: Thecontrast in that shot is A+. The detail in the net is pretty impressive.

mjbetch: What kind of lightsphere is that? I've been wondering if the differencebetween a cheap one and a Gary Fong one is worth the twenty dollar difference...

Question to all of you:

What's your workflow with pics? how do you store them, manage them etc.

I'm asking because I got a bad habit of deleting all my originals once I edit the shots I want. The problem with that is that most of the time I resize tosomething around 800pixels which is ok for sharing online and uploading etc, but I want to start saving my originals.

This is basically what I do:

Open in PS, resize, edit, save, throw out the OG...

Do you guys keep the originals even if they need cropping, or do you do the minor touches (crop, color correcting, exposure, etc) and save a copy, then resizeit for online?

Discuss!

I always upload all my photos onto iPhoto and when I edit them, I save them on my desktop and delete them in the long run cause I either upload them on mywordpress blog or disregard them cause I don't need them. So I have all of my originals of every photo on my iPhoto.....and they seem to be eating myharddrive really fast.
