What's up...been a while since I posted some pics. Here's some pics that I took right before I left Japan. (3 months ago...LOL)

BTW...I also copped the Tokina 10-17 Fisheye, amazing lens...but I'm still trying to learn how to shoot with a fisheye.

i want to try that brenizer method but i suck at framing, so with my luck my picture would probably come out like santi described
im almost there. if i sell my iphone then i'll have the money quicker, but no one wants to buy it

Nice pick up...This is the lens that I plan on getting next I believe. Post up some shots. What camera you using it with? And where did you pickit up and for how much if you dont mind me asking. thanksOriginally Posted by i just got lucky

I went around Singapore the other and took a few shots, IMO its hard to get an "interesting shot" out of the fisheye lens, its different fromshooting with a regular lens. But I'll post some pics once I get some pics that I actually like.
I'm shooting with a D90, bought it at singapore spent about $800 (Sing Dollars) for it including 7% Singapore Tax + 3% Debit Card Processing...about 480 -530 (US$ just depends on the exchange rate).
On the way to Australia now

^^^It was the Haight Street Festival. Some dude was just waving a flag for whatever reason. I have been seeing the pride banners everywhere around SanFrancisco and Bart so I guess that is coming up later on in the month. We also have this one called Love Fest coming up too and a Jazz festival in the Fillmoreas well. Tons of stuff going on since the weather is getting nice.
Here's the rest of my photos from that day. Just wanted to share the good one but this just kind of gives you an idea what goes down at these things.

OK guys I haven't done this in a while ..
But is assignment time once again ... yay ... Something nice and simple and creative ..
Like always I want to know who is going to participate so i can keep track when the day come ..
Anyway the assignment is simple .. "SPELL YOUR HOOD" .. lol .. unless you want to spell something else .. basically the idea is that you will goaround your hood finding stuff to spell out where you from ....
am I loosing anyone???
Ok .. so lets say you live in Yugoslavia - you will find something different for each letter .. until you have spell the entire thing .. it's not limitedto the state or city but you can also spell out the county if you want to ....
Ya wanna do it??

I did one of these in my design class. Straight had to find a letter for ever alphabet...both uppercase and lower.....and you couldn't use letters insigns, magazines, etc. You pretty much had to find objects that spelled out the letter without actually doing it. Seems like an odd assignment since it reallyisn't a photogenic thing but I am down since we haven't done one of these things in a while.
