Fong, what i'd do is i'd take a look at a whole bunch of wedding pictures off flickr and either try to mimic them, or something similar.

what's funny though, is that my girl's brother told me to take pics at his wedding of JUST fisheye. haha. good luck bro!

Yeah.....I've been doing that. I have to do a combination of things but I am going to (sadly) rely on my photoshop skills to touch up the rest. I just needto take some decent originals. I'llprobably take some fisheye at the ceremony....to get those wide shots in the church. the rest will be just some closeups.

Fong I would also say if you cant afford to buy a lens and flash try renting it, saves you money and you will be prepared. Try looking glass photo in berkeley.

So question. How much would I get for selling a Canon XT Rebel, the stock elns, a 50mm, a 420 flash, a external battery pack, 2 canon batteries, and 6 4GBcompact flash cards?

...since school is over for now, I will be posting more. nice pics in here by the way.
guess i'll start with these for starters...

^^^^I am sure he tinted the photo and made it more purple and upped the contrast. I used to do a lot of photos like that but never really made sense and wasexecuted right. For some reason even with the heavy PS, it looks cool. Kind of reminds of sort of a bayou or something in New Orleans.

Man, y'all are making me itch to get back into photography ...

PROPS to everyone in here for their great shots and helpful advice.

no ps, just been messing around with the white balance a lot lately.

Oh...so you just set it with more of a purple/blue hue? I guess that pretty much makes its so you don't have to use PS.

CC... Central Park is heaven on earth, I really searched for good spots with good even sunlight for some good exposures, still have to learn these differentexposure modes. There were tons of pictures where I wanted the subject brighter but it exposed for the sky. xsi is great, wish I carried the 50 prime for theaquarium.

can someone recommend me a nikon camera with good low light capabilities?

i was thinking my next camera should either be a D90 or D200. my D50 has about 25k clicks on the shutter, and i'm thinking it's gonna crap out within afew months. i need a new camera!
