^^^Yo Dunks. I was reading your blog......why did you sell the fisheye? Just wondering....seeing how everyone I know that has it, loves it. I guess you are afish guy, or you aren't.

I got this as a gift yesterday. I guessed I b*tched and moaned not having it so much that someone took notice. I must say, so far after taking it, I thoughtthe lens would be quicker. I swear my nifty fifty off of my Canon seemed faster....but I am sure it is just me. Also I though the bokeh was was more harsh aswell. Oh well...I guess I have to play with it some more.

Fong - I loved it don't get me wrong. Recording and taking pics was great while it lasted, but the problem was that I hate the fact that theirs no filitersfor it and I kept getting paranoid because of that and a few other things. I also sold it because i needed cash. After I got my 50 f/1.8 I started using itmore and never really used my fisheye that much. Nice 35mm hows it treating you? By the way, glad you finally got a legit betetr site, dont get me wrong,fatlace was cool, but i like your site.

^^^Right dude. I've been meaning to revamp my site even more so and make it better, but laziness has always bit me in the butt. I try to keep the Fatlaceone and mine different but after a while, I just get tired of updating two things. Mine gets more love though....but looks mad funky on other computers andother browsers.

But I hear you. I straight always wipe my fisheye with my shirts when I know one day I am going to regret it and scratch it. The 35mm is cool, but I think itis what it is and I am already looking into getting something else since this was a gift. Probably sell my stock VR lens and look into getting another wideangle lens in the long run. I am even getting that itch to go full frame, but maybe later when I get some more money.
 
anyone remember that batman type where the dude was on the motorcycle, custom helmet and whatever. tryna find it, but gave up after browsing thru 30 or sopages.

I think your pics are awesome, but IMO the way your tag lloks kind of takes away from them. I think it's because it looks jagged since its resized. Youshould work on it, and also try to keep it the same size throughout shots. Other than that, I'm a big fan of your photos.

The size of all of them are pretty similar, I just resized them within the post so they didnt take up as much space. On the flickr they are similar. Idon't really like adding the tag either, but I just don't want my work stolen or anything, without credit given. Of course I have the originals though.Also, I don't use photoshop to add it either, once i get it i can add a less bothersome tag. But definately I will try to improve the tag when I add it inthe future, thanks for the C&C.
 
While we're talking about it, how does one go about adding a tag without having to type it every time. I wanna make more of a logo so that it's not asdistracting as a name but still identifiable. Any help?

I use Lightroom 2.4 and the tag is really simple to embed with that program. Other than that design one yourself and place it in your picture using Photoshop.not hard.

this is how i learned how to do it.. basically i separate my photos in adobe bridge 1 folder landscape and another portrait..Then follow thisGUY on how to create actions.... just an FYImake 2 actions one for portrait and another landscape.. takes some time to learn everything .. but just make sure you dont OVERIDE/SAVE in case you mess up
 
Just went on a trip down unda. Heated since I brought a new lens that I didn't test as well as I should have. I ended up packing up my new lens andshooting the kit glass for half my trip. Booooo....
