Nice sleeves Mr Bing.

Even though it might not be much I'd throw in the new $20s and
even the new $5s since it has a tint of purple to give it some contrast.

But scanning stuff is very interesting it gives you the perfect lighting almost everytime.

Peace.

^Thanks. After looking at it for 2-3 days now I'm kinda on board with "should have used more/different bills" but took it to the printeryesterday so ehh… Always next time. But yeah, scanning is something I've been seeing alot of like art photography lately where people use scanners, apparently if you leave the top open and scan you get this really nice and super matte black around everthing but whatever is directly on the scanner.

I have a handful vinyl sleeves done at this point and picking one (Nas "If I Ruled The World") up tomorrow from the printer, but it's late soI'll host jpgs tomorrow.

But already had this hosted. Gotham as some of you more familar with typography can probably tell is my new favorite typeface, I figure it's the onlytypeface I've every actually paid for I should get my money's worth.

Ross Is Here,
If you go to a good print shop they should have canvas they can run through a printer. I know my school has an Epson 11880 and Epson 9800 both of whichthey'll print canvas with. I personally wouldn't do that to a photograph but if you live in a decent enough city shouldn't be to difficult a taskto find somewhere that prints on canvas.

i got the idea when i went to urban outfitters, they got like 4 pictures that were printed on canvas. one of them was some records that werestacked and the others were a picture of a vinyl shop...the pieces looked really nice, lighting and highlights was really good. but i didnt feel like spendingthe $$$ for that they asking for, Id rather use my own pictures and find a way to print them on canvas. I actually found one here in san diego, but i haventasked how much they would charge me.

Here are some of my pictures. All pictures have very minimal PS effect. Ignore the blemish in the pictures, the sensor has to get cleaned.

One of my top things to do in life is I really wanna do is take Lightning pics.
Especially off a dock with water in the background.

The only thing I am scared of is:

1) Getting electrocuted.
2) Getting my camera wet.

But when I get that chance i'll die happy.

Peace.

There are some amazing pics in this thread. I was wondering, for those who are new to photography and those that want to get in and learn, what is a goodstarter camera? Something that can take good pics but is very user friendly where the Average Joe can take amazing shots. Thanks in advance

2) Getting my camera wet.

Your camera is probably pretty waterproof. It can sometimes be hard keeping raindrops off your lens but a little water on the body isn't going to do anyharm.

Dropped mine in a bog a couple of weeks ago (the day I took some of those mountain ones I was climbing up one with my camera on the tripod and I slipped and ittook a good dunking) and it still works fine.

Haha! For real dude. I wouldn't want my grave to say "died from lightening while taking a picture....therefore after, broke his camera". Butcapturing lightening is such a surreal thing. Plus it just gives off some great natural lighting effect. That pic up there is so dope! Like the sky is lit bluewhereas the bottom portion is all yellow.

Fongstarr, www.pixel-peeper.com is a good site if you want to search for pictures from certain models.
They have all makes and models. Just click on one you want to see pictures from and it has like 10 pages of it.
Decent pictures too.

Dope site man...I think this might finalize my decision to get the Tokina Fisheye......

Yo a client of mines wants a shoot similar to the infamous Death Row photo as well as the Goodfellas poster...I understand that most part of the technique hasto do with photoshop, but what are some tips on making the process better. I tried taking pictures in a dark room with a spotlight on the subjects face, but itwasnt as clear as I wanted it to be, I'm using a basic canon eos 400d rebel xti with an 18-55 lens.
Can someone point me to a tutorial or drop some knowledge on what it takes to get this....

^I'm not a lighting person. But the key light needs to come from above. like in front and above. And even if you photoshop it out a black backdrop andfloor would probably be helpful as you don't want to bounce or overly diffuse the light. Like maybe 30˚ from straight down. Also if you have like barndoors or a grid for your light that'd probably be helpful.

these two pictures are dope bro. is the first pic photoshopped?

3 different nights spend up on my buildings roof, $48 worth in film and film processing, the O.G. stitched file that's 784.1MB and 252.2 Megapixels thatcrashed my 4GB Duo Core MBP 4 times (I've never gotten it to crash like that even once...)

And the result not completely fixed, etc. but still.
