I used a Canon 20D for many of those pics, some with the Canon 5D. To be honest it's all about the lens that you use, and probably shooting RAW will helpso you can post-process cleanly. I only PP'd the lighting and put some sharpening, I don't alter the photos in any other way. If you guys have anymoreq's let me know.

Sup_

I actually like the first one better Krux.

Second one just looks like an overly saturated pic. First one has nice colors to give it that islandy/tropical feel.

Peace.

Figure since everyone is weighing in.

I don't know if I'm completely sold on either the first feels de-saturated and the second feels over saturated but if I had to pick I'd pick thefirst by a lot... Compositionally is where I think it's great. It's quite nice the balance of sky to "city" is interesting. I wish the cameraitself was physically higher so it wasn't angled up as much but it's nice nonetheless.

Nice. I wish they straighter (maybe if you shot alittle outside your ideal framing and then cropped shots straight you'd resolve that.) but impressed allthe same.

Thanks for the comments. I seriously have no idea what I'm doing.

I'm just experimenting on old photos I have.

NIce pics everyone!

RAW is only better if you know how to edit the image properly in photo editing programs. there are some downsides mainly dealing with how large the imagesize is so you are either in need of mulitple memory cards or one high capacity one.
