yea, bustinxjustin, i hate seeing this thread get bumped down

c&c wanted on this post as well as on my previous past from the previous page please?

Well I figured out what the problem was, it was my shutter speed. I was shooting 1000 shutter speed in low light conditions which caused dark pictures. Butwhen I switched it to a much lower shutter speed, pictures were coming out bright and clear. So it wasn't the film nor camera it was me.

I'm loving doing everything manually compared to having the camera do EVERYTHING for me. I just need to pick up a 28mm wide angle and a 200mm zoom andI'll be good to go.

Kinda like my friend (OG NTer) on Flickr. You should check it out. Here are some samples.

Peace.

On the first pic, I would like to see her face and her whole hand. Having the arm cover the face takes away from the picture, as well as cutting half of herhand on the top of the frame. You could have also cropped out the hand on the right side of the frame, it's a bit distracting and awkward.

Here are some of my shoes from a recent photoshoot:

btw, flipzkicks you bounce flash for those shoe shots? they look nice.

can somebody school me on how to get this type of lighting effect???

001tk3.jpg

i know it probably achieved using natural light, but can somebody tell me what settings, ect i need to get this effect

Thanks for the comments guys

^Seattle206: I was using off-camera flash mounted on a seperate tripod via Canon ST-E2 Transmitter. I either used direct flash, or feathered the light. Ididn't bounce because there was no where to really bounce it off. I also dragged the shutter a bit when using the telephoto.

Hey Quick, how much does that lighting setup cost? I think I remember you saying that you use a tripod and a strobe with umbrellas. I am interested inpurchasing some more lighting equipment. Also, are you using a pocketwizard to control the strobe?
