If you don't mind me asking, what kind of camera and lense did you use for those shots BayEST? Those are awesome pics man.

Thanks , yall.

that woman staring into the city shot: i'm diggin' it. depth is on point.

it's a good day for me today, though. just got in my alien bees light equipment. more pics coming soon...

my wallet is hurting, though. lol

nice pics guys , i got the canon 15mm fisheye today , ill post some pics soon .

im thinking hard about returning it and grabbing the tokina 10 17 mm fisheye , the canon distortion is not that great . its a sharp good lens but i am just notgetting the bent lines . im not sure though might stick with the canon .

check my blog for some pics also !

That is the main reason why I am getting a Tokina. I like the made distortion of it. If I were you, I would exchange. I think someone told me at a camerashop (I think it was Wolf) and the Canon fisheye is actually a very old lens compared to the Tokina. Still it is good but they never really did a upgrade toit.......

so Tokina is ur personal preference or an overall better alternative to the Canon fisheye?

I mean that is me...but that is me saying it without testing both lenses out. Someone sent me a link (forgot it) but it had shots taken with the Tokina and theCanon and the Tokina just looked better to me. But I think it could be one of those things that might be a learning process, even though it cost you someduckets to find out which one you like. But I am sold on the Tokina, but I am sure there will be some stuff I don't like about it, like the 3.5 aperturesetting. I know Neek (http://thehundreds.com/neek/) has a Tokina and some of his shots alone sell me that lens over the Canon due to the distortion.

so does the tokina fit the canon xsi ?

i took a few more photos today with the canon im starting to like it . its def a tough choice the canon is very subtle .
im not totally 100 % sure i want the crazier distortion i WANT BOTH !! AHAHAH

ill post a few pics , im still new to this whole thing so bare with me on the qualiy !! !hahaha

Yes, the Tokina fisheye will work on the XSi. The Rebel series and xxD series will take any EF-S or EF mount lens from Canon and full-frame or digital lensesfrom third-parties. The 5D and 1D series models will only take EF mount lenses or full-frame lenses from third-parties (some digital lenses will work but willhave heavy vignetting).
