Official Photography Thread: Vol. ICan'tFindTheLastOne

Rap Sizzle, did you use the 100mm macro on those shots. I just bought a Canon EF-S 60mm macro, should have it next week. I was looking at the 100mm but ididn't want something too big and the price was a little steep. Reviews for both lenses were excellent, some said the 60mm macro is up there with L seriesquality. Sigma also makes a nice 70mm macro that is up to par with the canons.

^ I used my Sigma 70-300mm macro telephoto. I am though looking for a marco lens that can focus closer to the subject and because I'm used to my telephotomacro the 100mm seems ideal for me. Let me know how that 60mm since I'm still researching around.

the fly one is the best one IMO. love how it's focused although the subject isn't as sharp as it could be.

Since I don't really do commercial photography or every really plan to. My rate for essentially what amounts to is highly negotiable. At this point Ireally only involve myself as collaborator from an art aspect (graphic design, web design, photography, brand identity, etc.) with things I feel motivated topart of or I feel have weigh or with a little direction could go places. Like shortypop, it's #%!+$## screen name yet when the .com had absolutely nocontent I was averaging 300+ unique hits a day, now I realize grand scheme thats not a huge amount but makes me realize how viable turning a screen name of 20year old girl from Virginia into a brand identity really is...

The shortypop thing "Shortypop in Monochrome" is something we (Me & Tisha) shot (among other things I just shot) with a Yashica Electro GS 35mmthat I gave to her while she was here in Chicago but as essentially creative director and designer of Shortypop ([emoji]169[/emoji]2008

) I have a financial tie-in to the"brand" (note the store they'll be product in it shortly) so there was no charge for that or any of the other shoots. But I'm in talks with ahandful of other people on Niketalk about various shoots that may or may not happen as well as webdesign because if you notice Shortypop.com is both flash andlooks pretty slick...

So right now I have no set rate for anything it's all completely dependent on A: who you are (i.e. do I know you personally ex: SP is the homegirl, soit's love) B: what you want and how much work it entails and C: what's in it for me. If it's something easy and has huge potential to blow up intosomething that gets my name out there, $*@$ I'll do it @ cost... but if it's wack you could offer me $1,000 an hour I want nothing to do with...

It's been a while...[C&C are most appreciated].
