^Yup, you got it. I don't have the money for a TS lens, nor too much use for it. I just wanted to try something new. Had to modify it so I could post ittoo, because it is copyrighted to the newspaper I work for.

so my friend just hired me to take pics for her mothers birthday and this will be my first time actually doing something like this. she knows im not really aprofessional but she just needs me to take pics of the party and what not.

i have an xti with the kit lens and the 50mm f1.8 lens and i plan on getting a flash. is the 430ex any good?
what do you guys recommend?
are these lenses gonna be alright?

just remember its nothing serious like a wedding, they really just need someone with a good camera to take pics lol.

Sold it as soon as the D90 was announced. Now... I miss it... Cause i dont have $1500 to Get the D90.

Ill probably end up getting a XSi but i've been hearing that the focus is not too accurate on it. Pretty much between the XSi and D80 if the D90 planfails. The D80 is $699-$750 now so its a good deal.

D40 retail price is dropping quick. If I waited any longer, I would have had to sell it dirt cheap.

Damn, if only you were in the States...someone is selling a D80 for $540 shipped and it has less than 200 actuations. The guy is only selling it to continentalUS though.

i have the xsi, but i dont have the af issue, everything seems fine to me, and new firmware just released for xsi owners

Nah, I'm basically starting out fresh. The only Nikon lens I had was the kit lens which I also sold.

^ To answer you question, its pretty simple.

If you have Photoshop you can just type whatever you want and lower the opacity and bam instant watermark.

Or if you are creative enough design your own logo and put it on there, but if you don't have PS then you can use Paint.

^ I haven't checked if you can change the settings (haven't used MS Paint in a while) but Paint compresses your JPG images so much that you'll losea good amount of detail in your photo.
