Anyone here have any albums of night time photography, specifically ones with ghost/spirits(long exposures resulting in transparency of people), or any ideasfor ghosts for a photoshoot. it's for an assignment

try placing a subject in a crowded area and have it stand still while everyone else is walking. you should end up w/ a ghosting effect all aroundthe main subject which will be in focus

Most of your stuff that you took a photo of looks like it was within a 1 minute walk within or outside of your house.

Go out and take pictures of more stuff!

Hey guys, I want a new lens for my Nikon D40. Im mainly going to take everyday pics, as a hobby, nothing fancy at all. i'll try to add a bit of something different here...all the following pics i post will be from FILM, soplease don't tell me how grainy they are, because that's part of the film aesthetic!

all are developed differently, but all are individually hand scanned by yourstruly on a imacon flextight 848 film scanner. sorry for the large pics, but imo they're the only way to properly view pictures. the white borders were notput there on purpose, they're just the edges of the negatives/slides that got scanned in, i felt it was better to leave them as is. PS: there has been no photoshopping/post-prod work done on them.


the 3 below are from a medium format holga camera, 120's positive slide film kodak ektachrome EPP. the last 3 are 35mm film, fuji velvia slides/e6 crossprocessed in c41.
