Sooo... f/2.8 on a P&S (G10 wide open) is equivalent to f/11 on a SLR/DSLR...
frown.gif
I know everyone knows there is no way a P&S can achieve the shallowdepth of field of a DSLR, but damn, this book just kinda slapped me in the face with the facts and reminded me what a stupid switch I made. EGHK...

I miss my D90...

Just had to vent...

Go ahead... LAUGH! STUPIT!

Reminds me when i was little and lived in PuertoRico - every time I saw something from the United States - automatically I said is that New York or NY isbeautiful or damn thats a good team NY has .. so hence NY = USA ... damn

but yeah .. so you was in Canada - I really want to go and take some pictures but I think in Feb it might still be to cold to enjoy it and be confy whiletaking pictures ....

BTW stop showing off - you know damn well you wanted to show what your little camera could do ..

f/11 isnt THAT bad... okay maybe a little. I love the detail that the G10 gives though.

Don't worry Santi, f/2.8 sucks anyway

I quite like both of your shots - technically they're good but I would have included a bit more of the ground - that would just make it morebalanced IMO.

You may want to try to clone the lights away from the black part in the bottom. Photo-wise I have nothing to comment really, that's a nicephoto.
