). The 1.4 I'm still contemplating on whether I should keep or sell. If you ask me it's the best lens in terms of build and image quality for the price. Of my 3 prime L-lenses, the 50L has been fairly disappointing so far. It's not as sharp as I hope it would be. I tested it with my 5D but hopefully the micro adjustment feature on the 5D Mark II can help its performance.

As for the video I shot with the 5D II, I'll upload it and post it on my blog after we show it at our callout tomorrow. 1GB for a 10min video

Oh, and don't be embarrassed about your XS kit. Anyone, granted they save up, can buy the best equipment, but if they don't know how to use them to their full potential, it's all a complete waste. A photographer's creativity and vision can't be replaced by $1000+ gear.
f1.4 you say ehhh, too bad its like 7x the price of the 1.8

Borrowed my friends 1.8 to play around with this weekend, hopefully get some good shots. Just waiting for best buy to get some stock on them.
and thanks the the inspirational words.

In addition, here are some pics. C&C's are welcomed and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Nice shot.

thx Kickmatic23.

Quick question, beside the eye piece (where you look through into the viewfinder) there is a dial on the side, how do you know if that is set correctly, I knowit has something to do with the viewfinder

can someone recommend me a nice soft box diffuser for my SB-800? not a big one but just a pretty small one.

I am assuming your talking about the jazz rendition of Electric Relaxation by Tribe. It is a serious of compilations called "Hidden Beach RecordsPresents: Unwrapped". I caught on to it about 5 years ago and have most every volume. It's really good stuff and worth the buy/download/steal copy.Great music to listen to when your doing homework or something that you need to chill off of. Check out the snippets on Amazon:

The best rap to jazz version that I like is 21 Questions by 50 Cent. I think that is volume 4 and I think there is a new one out too with (believe it ornot) Soulja Boy jazz spin and a sexual Seduction one too.

^ Yeah. saw that. It was made with a SDK that Nikon released. It still has no audio, and not nearly as close as the D90 video mode (resolution wise)

My wishlist for PMA is a D40 sized body, with built in focus motor, and video mode. Probably wont happen though.

nothing too special...just wanted to share my first attempt at HDR...just wished there were more clouds.
