Official Photography Thread: Vol. ICan'tFindTheLastOne

Do any other Canon Digital Rebel XS owners having certain parts of a picture being overexposed when taking sunlight pictures at 0EV? I have it and I have tobring the exposure down to -1/3 to -1EV to correct this. Is this my camera's fault? (I'm using 18-55 kit lens and no filters)

^ just shows that the way they calculate the exposure isn't perfect - not unusual - it's just the preference of the guy who decided the settings andwill work better in some conditions than others.

so I spent a few hours trying to do a few panos and I thought it be easier with the UWA lens (10-22) and I found out that it was all for nothing. I'm upsetbut at least I know what not to do next.

The reason why is because at 10mm the distortion is to much for PS to be able to stitch the pictures together.

So all that time claiming jumping trespassing and being cold .. all for nothing .. lmao!!!!

At least I just told you what not to do .. so you are welcome ..

well i know prime is a fixed focal, but what makes it prime. lol

I'm not sure but I've always thought prime lenses are fast. I think it depends on the lens though usually it would have a letter after the size of theF-stop. like the L on Canons and the D on Nikons...i think. I dunno.

elboricua, I always shoot my panos using my kit lens (locked at 18mm) or my nifty-fifty, I started doing this with the newer ones that I took...

Hi guise,

I'm in the market for a high quality HDV Camcorder. I'm looking for info or help finding a camcorder similar to the professional kinds.
I lost out on getting a Canon XH-A1 for $650

So I'm looking for a camerathat is accessible and has the "boom" mic on it. Also, it records in 1080 resolution. I'll be using it for like documentaries and such similar toVIMEO or to shoot decent music videos.

Similar to this one.

I'm willing to spend up to $800 if the deals really good.

Thanks in advance.

So, let me hear all the flaws .. this is the image manage to save ..
frown.gif
I tried to capture all this with 3 shots out of my UWA but that didnt work!

I dont like the distortion on the left, but I'll learn to live with it until I can re-shot or something ..

But you all point out the other many flaws ....
